I don't think many people realize there are something like six total conglomerates that control pretty much the whole cycle of planting seeds/meat processing to the delivery to stores.

I agree with breaking these companies up.

On a similar note, beef ranchers have gotten tired and are opening their own processing plant in Nebraska. Tired of watching the big four meat companies low ball them on cattle pricing and then turn around and jack up the price by the time it hits the stores.
