I'm going to butcher this, but the gist was that area also had more tough gun laws than others. A judge denied a request to have the more stringent rules lifted, as it was supposed to prevent this from happening.

All I can tell is that he looks like what I’d imagine an Antifa dude to look like, has the #47 tatted on his face which is either a reference to nazis or the Hitman video game and that he attended a Trump rally and posted a picture of him draped in a Trump flag.

So apparently he’s a left wing incel Nazi/Hitman appropriating Trump lover/hater.

What is driving this issue? This is a terrible problem, but why do we keep seeing the same thing over and over? Loner white males angry.

I know that in my existence, all I've seen is that men, in general, are told they are pieces of shit and need to change.

When I heard Highland Park and wealthy I immediately thought of Highland Park, Texas. Small, very wealthy independent city completely surrounded by Dallas.

Among others. Violence is often borne of desperation and/or greed. Shifting cultural values with a perceived or real loss of freedom also contribute.

The Highland Park #s are lower. 30 injured (not all shot), 7 killed.

Yet the MSM is only giving a tiny fraction of the attention/coverage to the bigger Chicago shooting #s. Since most of the Highland Park victims are white, and most of the Chicago victims black and brown, one can only conclude that the lack of coverage of the Chicago shootings compared to Highland Park indicates the MSM is racist.
