I've contended that we really know almost everything to be known now, and have for some time - this violence was done in the most visible way possible and was a slow motion tweet trainwreck. You're blowing smoke - no way he was or is going to testify and everybody on both sides knew that from the jump. The committee has done a good job of not making speeches and letting the story be told by the people who were there at the scene - the guy who fucked up was McCarthy and now Ms. Cheney is shoving it up his ass with a unanimous vote to subpoena, when he could have had at least three "no" votes and a much better chance of trying to make it look purely partisan.
