Jackson St defeated Alabama St 26-12 but the HCs for these schools did not have a friendly post game exchange.

Eastern Washington is 1-4, they were just defeated by a much better Weber State team. Eastern Washington’s QB Gunner Talkington looked like crap, Eastern Washington looked like crap, those EWU players looked timid, slow and unathletic. Looks like the preseason polls that had Eastern Washington finishing last in the conference were right. If Weber State can put up damn-near 30 points in the second half, Eastern’s got a lot more losing to do.

Congratulations Weber on the win, their players fought hard throughout the second half and especially in the fourth quarter.

This is a sad day for EWU Football, 5’9 Qb Gunner Talkington and his offense could only manage 14 points against Weber State, AND ZERO IN THE SECOND HALF!

If it makes you feel better, only UC Davis has been able to score an offensive touchdown against Weber in the 2nd half this year.

Eastern is better than their record indicates IMO. Youth and inexperience plus a gauntlet of a schedule hasn't done them any favors.
