Re: 2022 FBS Polls
What I said on the JMU board:
If that’s true (I honestly haven’t looked at the polls this season) and the Top 10 teams they beat on the road no less are still ranked, then just more proof the polls are garbage, and no different than the FCS polls at this point- worthless as tits on a bull..

Re: 2022 FBS Polls
Clearly Texas A&M shouldn't be ranked at this point. I don't know if I'd rank Marshall or Appy St, though. Appy St is 1-1 and the team they lost to (UNC) isn't ranked either. I'm fine with that. With ND dropping way out of the poll (justified) then Marshall can also be unranked. If both Marshall and Appy St keep winning they'll both be ranked. No worries about mid September polls at this point, plenty of football to be played.

Re: 2022 FBS Polls
Not that the ORV category matters that much, but why is UNC still receiving votes? Two really lackluster games against the Sun Belt, have a win against a MEAC, and then they get thumped at home no less by a Notre Dame team that has struggled offensively all year. Not seeing why they need to be getting any votes.

Re: 2022 FBS Polls
I watched Lousiville (JMU @ Louisville next week) ABSOLOUTELY DESTROY #10 Wake Forest (turned it off at 48-14 early 4th qtr) and Wake is still ranked and Lousiville isn‘t. Proves the polls are as worthless as tits on a bull.SuperHornet wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 2:09 pm Coaches Poll

Re: 2022 FBS Polls
I thought there might be some sort of explanation in Louisville's schedule. I just looked. No such explanation seems to exist. You might just have a good point.BDKJMU wrote: ↑Sun Oct 30, 2022 4:55 pmI watched Lousiville (JMU @ Louisville next week) ABSOLOUTELY DESTROY #10 Wake Forest (turned it off at 48-14 early 4th qtr) and Wake is still ranked and Lousiville isn‘t. Re: 2022 FBS Polls
That's bogus, BDK. (The poll itself, not your citation of it.) It's not a playoff, therefore any poll claiming to be a "playoff poll" is not legit....

The Bogus College Football Non-Playoff

These are the "official" rankings, but USA Today posted today that they think Clemson will be in the Top 4 when all is said and done. I don't THINK so. Of course, it's bogus, so I don't really care. The winner in Frisco will be the REAL D-I Champion....
