SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
This is the most compelling quarterfinal game.
#7 @ #2 I have no idea.
#8 @ #1 and #6 @ #3 gonna be blowouts.

NDSU if they play to their potential.
Maybe but rushing D isn’t their forte this year. I think they’re giving up 160ish per game.
Yeah, but they seem to always turn it on in the playoffs, and if there's one thing that beats the cats' run game, it's being in the right position, which NDSU is famous for every year.
I do think if they did play each other, the game would be much closer than it was last year.
Again, I think they can stop MSU, along with SDSU. I don't think any of the remaining teams can stop them if they wanted to.

NDSU is different with Jethro as coach. I don't think they're as disciplined so I'm not sure they'll be "in the right position" as much as they historically have.

This one surprises me. If we were going to have a blowout, it ought to be Holy Cross at SD State, right? (No, I don't believe that will happen, but given the spread in the seeds, it would make sense.)

This game is crazy. I NEVER would have figured this. And I especially wouldn't have pegged B&M for all these frustration penalties.
I was impressed to hear that the current B&M HC recruited Mike Tomlin and Sean McDermott to B&M while there as DL Coach in the early '90s....

If you're going to lose, you might as well lose in epically humiliating fashion.
I believe they call that the "Sam Houston Doctrine."

Has QB Casey Bauman left the Montana St Bobcats when I first saw him I was practically salivating over the fact he is 6-6 235.Also I saw Tucker Rovig as well 6-5 220

Bauman transfered to a DII school, don't remember where. Rovig graduated and decided to forgo his final year. He is a grad assistant at Idaho.
What a waiste of talent for both of them they should have been obvious NFL PROSPECTS at their size shocked that Washington State didn't come knocking Bauman's door.He is at Augustana College he is listed at 6-7 230

In the right system I would agree with you. The system MSU ended up running did not fit either Rovig or Bauman plus Coach Choate seemed to never get to a point where he trusted a QB. If there is one flaw in his time as the Cats HC it is that. While a Bauman had a terrific arm he was never very accurate, hoping with the right coaching that is changing or will be changing. Rovig had some good games (see 2019 playoffs) but the system MSU was gravitating towards did not fit his style of play. Both are high character kids and wish nothing but the best for them. Rovig was actually voted team captain in 2021.
