You're oversimplifying things to try and justify/defend/deflect for trump. Lack of evidence is not proof that it didn't happen.

trump took sensitive documents, kept them in a less then secure location, bragged about having them and refused to return them. He put American interests and lives and risk and should face the consequences of his actions.

Both he and Hillary should be locked up.

Trial set for Aug 14, which on the one hand is extemely quick for a complex fed trial. OTOH with motions, doscovery, & rules & procedures for classifed docs, its likely to be pushed back SIGNIFICANTLY according to what all these talking head legal experts are saying...

Trial moved to Ft Pierce. St Lucie Co 2020 election was 50.4% Trump/48.8 Brandon. As far as jury pool for a highly political trial, thats about as balanced as you can get.

1. FFS. This is absolutely about classified documents. I've been steadfast in bearing that drum this whole thread. The documents are still classified. If they were just some petty notes, the DOJ wouldn't even be involved. Please let me know why you think the documents in question are not classified.

2. Regardless of classification, Trump wasn't allowed to retain documents related to his term in office after January 20. I'll post a link to the Presidential Records Act below. It's obvious you have yet to read it. It's about 6 pages so it won't take long to have someone read it to you. Feel free to post the part that before up your claim that Trump can keep these documents.

3. Before we can move forward with this conversation, we are going to have to agree on the facts around this case. I'm open to any argument you put forth, with reputable documentation. Ask I ask is that you are willing to do the same. Sounds fair?

1) Then why do the charges sidestep classification and go with failure to hand over nat security docs? They may be classified, but if that charge is sidestepped, they have to know it's a weak angle.

2). All Presidents work with the records group. Even if a President keeps documents they want, it's a civil suit. Not this.

3) I'll provide the best I can, but stuck reading what others have to post...meaning I'm not versed in the law and have to accept their analysis. But I'll post my sources.

On a separate note, what do you think the nat sec docs are about? It's been speculated they reveal nuclear posture. Why would Trump want to keep this? What value does it have for him other than to bolster his Presidency and ego?
