You guys finally seeing what was going on here?
the Red Army and their affiliated mercenaries are unable to accomplish their objectives and are being left to die in Ukraine. To save his own skin the Master Strategist will have to sacrifice either his defense minister, or the leader of the mercenaries, who himself would like to be the next defense minister should the Master Strategist be able to survive his humiliating inability to overpower his smaller, weaker (he thought) neighbor.

The cluster munitions will have the Russian trenches looking like a schoolroom in Uvalde. I almost feel sorry for the invaders knowing whats coming.
 Thanks for taking the time to type all that out.

Ukraine, Russia and the US are not signatories on the ban. It doesn't take the ethics out of the equation, but each country has taken a stance on the subject. Of course Ukraine is already on record as using them on its own population.

In regards to the $900 billion, it's not about how much money, it's about capacity. I've previously provided supply chain information from our government to you actually, and America simply doesn't have the capacity to keep supplying Ukraine with the weaponry they have been. The ramp up to that capability is going to take years.

I don't know if it's the cause, but I speculated that's what the early "explosions" in the Russian factories were about. The ramping up of production from one shift (8 hrs) to 24 hours.
Wrong and wrong, as is your custom lately. We have the capacity and it will take months to ramp it up rather than years - you don't seriously think we're going to pass up the profits to be made selling ammo to somebody who is using it to kill one of our main adversaries? If you do you have a fundamental lack of understanding of our capitalist system, bro. You need to get on youtube and see if you can find Country Joe and the Fish covering this very subject with the Fish Cheer.
Yes, you've been spot on with all your analysis except for getting everything wrong.

It's not about want of money, it's about building capacity and subsequent capacity of the supply chain. It's why the military article projected around 18 months for an appreciable increase of ammunition.

All bets are off when you've been invaded and are fighting for your home and family and your only option is fight or die. You gotta first kill Russians, then worry about the clean up after they're dead and gone. The Ukraian grandmother that told the Russian soldiers to put seeds in their pockets so flowers wil grow where they die got it right.
All bets are off equals dropping cluster munitions on your own people and subsequently killing them? :suspicious: Gives new meaning to taking one for the team.

NATO delivers gut punch to Putin
Erdoğan’s Sweden approval also came just days after he freed Ukrainian fighters from the Azov regiment, a move that deeply angered the Kremlin because the prisoners of war were supposed to remain in Turkey until the end of the war.

Aydıntaşbaş said the prisoner release is an even bigger blow than the Sweden deal, the latter of which was likely anticipated. She assessed the Turkish leader has now sensed Putin has become weak — especially after the Wagner revolt — and is drifting closer to Biden.

“I wouldn’t call this a reset, but it lays the groundwork for a reset between the West and Turkey and that would be a big deal,” she added. “Because at the end of the day, Turkey is NATO’s second largest army and its drift away from the West has been a big issue.”

Aydıntaşbaş, however, acknowledged Erdoğan often makes deals for transactional benefits, and since he does not view the Ukraine war as a binary issue, he is likely to continue to play both sides.

In addition to the DOD's own reports, do a Google search for Human Rights Watch on cluster munitions.

More importantly, how exactly did Jake Sullivan ascertain the Russian dud rate? Do you suppose he called the Kremlin and asked?

The US won't even release its data on the subject.

I agree, no one should be using cluster munitions. The Russian Nazis using them doesn't justify the Ukrainians using them.

There are no Russian Nazis. Only documented Ukrainian Banderite Nazis.

As Ukraine’s struggle against Russia and its proxies continues, Kiev must also contend with a growing problem behind the front lines: far-right vigilantes who are willing to use intimidation and even violence to advance their agendas, and who often do so with the tacit approval of law enforcement agencies.

A January 28 demonstration, in Kiev, by 600 members of the so-called “National Militia,” a newly-formed ultranationalist group that vows “to use force to establish order,” illustrates this threat. While the group’s Kiev launch was peaceful, National Militia members in balaclavas stormed a city council meeting in the central Ukrainian town of Cherkasy the following day, skirmishing with deputies and forcing them to pass a new budget.

Here I agree with you can you have to be difficult and argue with me. Are you ever happy? ;)

The Russian Nazis attempted a coup recently and putin talked tough but let them off the hook.

I think we all agree on that and it looks great on paper - but its not an argument that is going to sway anybody who is fighting for their family, home, and life.

Translation: F16 are nuclear capable and not wise to escalate by providing them to Ukraine. Plus they wouldn't fair to well against Russian air defense.
