vs. FCS: 6-2 Overall: 6-2
Best Performance: (#16) UC Davis 48, Texas A&M-Commerce 10 - The first game of the post-Ulonzo Gilliam era for the Aggies saw Lan Larison & Matteo Perez combine for 197 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns in a surprisingly dominant win.
Worst Performance: Northern Colorado 11, Abilene Christian 31 - The Bears are outgained 493-190, thus confirming everyone's suspicions that Ed Lamb has a lot of work to do.
Most Surprising Result: Idaho St. 28, (FBS) San Diego St. 36 - This result may've been more about SDSU's love for making games closer than expected, but still… this was a much better performance from the Bengals than last year's 38-7 smothering.

Best Performance: Houston Christian 66, (NAIA) Arkansas Baptist 0 - You know it's a bad week for the Southland when Houston Christian is the only winner.
Worst Performance: McNeese St. 34, Tarleton St. 52 - The Cowboys give up 50+ to an FCS team for the first time in 7 years (@ SHSU).
Most Surprising Result: (#7) Incarnate Word 14, (FBS) UTEP 28 - I know Lindsay Scott is gone, but getting shut out in the second half by a weak FBS is still a concerning outcome for the Cardinals.

Worst Performance: Austin Peay 23, Southern Illinois 49 - It doesn't bode well for the UAC in the postseason if their 3rd. place pick can get beat this bad by the Missouri Valley's 5th. place pick.
Most Surprising Result: Southern Utah 21, (FBS) Arizona St. 24 - The T-Birds got a blocked-punt TD to make things close late, but they just couldn't overcome former Sac State RB Cam Skattebo's 112 total yards and 1 rushing TD.

UNI offense was flat against what was the best defense in the Big12 last year but the UNI defense was much better than last year, holding ISU to 250 yards (vs. 279 for UNI). In the first half the Cyclones outside of one long drive scored on a Pick 6, had a punt return to the 21 yard line that led to a TD, and kicked a FG as the half expired after another turnover.
Next up, BBQ State at the Dome.
Keep up the good work Mvemjsunpx!
