The New Speaker…
Re: The New Speaker…
If they had any dirt on him - even the tiniest amount - they'd be throwing it all over the news and would have impeached long ago.
They don't have shit.
But they learned from Trump that continuing to breed fear, continuing to tell people "IT'S COMING", continuing to sell the lies about corruption, etc. will keep the MAGAts running around the floor for them.

they’re locked in over 90% on Democrats
That really needs to be more debate in the African-American community about who is really looking out in their best interest

If the African American and poor white communities both did that, states like Alabama would be electing 3rd party politicians.

You stated “black elitists” when just simple elitist would suffice.
Re: The New Speaker…
It is refreshing to see we've moved on from the election was stolen lies to "Biden is a criminal" with zero actual proof while going "it's a witch hunt that people think Trump is a crook" when there is mountains of evidence, losses in courts, and felony indictments and court cases happening.
One of my favorite, real time, psychology case studies I've been following is the evolution of the far right (in the US and Europe) over the last 7-8 years, where the conspiracies start, where they take hold, how they take hold, and what groups are most susceptible to them. The people actually compiling data in real-time and "publishing" them have made some damn interesting videos on it all.

Re: The New Speaker…
Fittingly - it all seems to stem by those creating the theories specifically targeting the white evangelical Christian side of things largely because religion has conditioned them to accept things with limited independent research. They quickly figured out if they could put a religious spin on everything and get it started in churches that it would pick up steam faster than anyone could imagine.....and they were correct.kalm wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 8:30 amIt’s been fascinating for sure.clenz wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 8:17 am It is refreshing to see we've moved on from the election was stolen lies to "Biden is a criminal" with zero actual proof while going "it's a witch hunt that people think Trump is a crook" when there is mountains of evidence, losses in courts, and felony indictments and court cases happening.

Re: The New Speaker…
I've already defined MAGAt yahoos.
Leftists is a broad category that can include the gullible fools who can't see the benefits of capitalism and/or think that socialism will "magically work if we try it here" to those who rioted in 2020 believing that defunding the police would actually reduce racism and crime to the so-called anti-fascists who use fascist techniques in an attempt to intimidate people who disagree with them. It's a volatile cocktail of emotions and gullibility just like the MAGAt yahoos.
As I said to CH, I fully expect the leftists to say hold my beer when it comes to extreme behavior if trump is re-elected.
