Re: Help me out here
That blowout to Howard really shocked me it was a obvious wake up call for the Eagles. They did to Delaware State what was done to them but the Hornets had a RB that had over 100 yds rushing they need to tighten up on that area of defense. As stated before ppl are not giving Richmond any respect despite their 9-2 mark what are their weaknesses that they have????? Howard University QB Quinton Williams (6-5 200) needs to used the Celebration Bowl as a NFL AUDITION.Mvemjsunpx wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 4:57 pm The committee didn't do a good job, to be honest.
Richmond shouldn't even have been sniffing an at-large (didn't play Albany, Villanova, Delaware, or UNH).
Holy Cross should've been in, as well as UCA.
Sac gets in ahead of Davis? Second-straight year Davis has been left out in favor of a less-deserving conference opponent.
NDSU should've been seeded, especially after how they've played the last two weeks.
I also don't think NC Central should've gotten in… maybe if they'd lost to Howard close instead of getting blown out, but that's not what went down.

Re: Help me out here
I thought Florida A&M was going to blow Bethune Cookman out last week too bad the SWAC is no longer available for the FCS PLAYOFFS just to see what happens of course.Bethune Cookman has a promising young QB Dominique Ponder(6-5 200) and I wished that he was with FAMU instead he was a 3*** star QB pro style passer in high school.JohnStOnge wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 6:08 pmi missed that Florida A&M is 10-1 and ranked higher than North Carolina Central in the polls.JohnStOnge wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 4:45 pm I wanted to write about how cool it is that the best HBCU is going to be in the playoffs this year instead of in the Celebration Bowl.

Re: Help me out here
Davius Richard(QB)needs to use this game vs Richmond as a NFL AUDITION he has enough size at 6-3 220.Jaoquin Davis(6-4 200) had a great day 6-128 yds where was Delaware State star DB Romell Harris Freeman he has obvious NFL SIZE at 6-4 205!!!!! Yes it will be fun watching NDSU on the road knowing that they will not be at the Fargo Dome let's see if Bison Nation will show up to support them??????

Re: Help me out here
Richmond actually went 8-3, but my main issue with them is that they only shared the CAA title because they didn't play the other 3 top teams in the CAA (Albany, Villanova, Delaware). They had 2 bad losses during the first half of the season, and their only decent win was Elon.dal4018 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 20, 2023 10:36 pmThat blowout to Howard really shocked me it was a obvious wake up call for the Eagles. According to the Sagarins, Richmond ranked #225 in DI in strength-of-schedule. That's the worst SoS rank for any team in the CAA, Big Sky, MVFC, Big South/OVC, Ivy League, SoCon, Southland, or United.

Yes I saw the final rankings and I thought ppl were underestimating Richmond. How did anyone give them a 9-2 mark instead!!!!!!Mvemjsunpx wrote: ↑Tue Nov 21, 2023 12:23 amRichmond actually went 8-3, but my main issue with them is that they only shared the CAA title because they didn't play the other 3 top teams in the CAA (Albany, Villanova, Delaware). Way to go MEAC this was a obvious shot in the arm for this league!!!!!!!kalm wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 6:10 pmTotally agree on the Bison. But I can still be happy seeing them hit the road.Mvemjsunpx wrote: ↑Sun Nov 19, 2023 4:57 pm The committee didn't do a good job, to be honest.

The CAA might be worse for all the additions. Richmond loss to Morgan State. That’s 4 CAA losses to the MEAC.

It’s more like NCCU from a historically bad MEAC should not be taken lightly by Richmond… but times are changing fast
MEAC hasn’t won a playoff game for like 25 years now, but this one is a tough game to pick for me

I agree with you dal. I would love to see the SWAC and MEAC champions in the playoffs but I don't blame them for going after the money and exposure. It's a lot of money and the exposure is great for them as universities.

Does YSU’s inclusion mean that Penguin fans will stop b!tching and moaning like they’ve been the victims of a great conspiracy?

Money has always been the problem with the both of these leagues and nothing has changed since they were created.
