I’m sure many illegal Venezuelans are named Hey Zeus and none of them can walk to PR from Venezuela

People have been putting their lives at risk to pursue opportunity throughout history. Where would be today if the Pilgrims hadn’t put their lives at risk?

Also throughout history they just do more of it when the border is open and The Mayflower was more seaworthy and not as overcrowded as what we see today

My playbook is 100’s of pages deep! I’ll send you an autographed copy for your learnin’.

I’ve always been for increased border security and tighter immigration enforcement. It’s one of the primary jobs of government. Biden should embrace both. Not that’s he’s encouraging illegal immigration. That idea shows the depth of your irrationality and information sources and why it’s difficult to take you remotely seriously.

So we should tighten up or border like Republicans want and help improve the economies of our southern neighbors like Democrats want.

Who went on vacation when Congress was dealing with the border?

Of course he’s encouraging it by looking the other way, every migrant knows he’s taking the do nothing approach and Blue city mayors can’t even get the rotten one to answer the phone to tell him we’re not sanctuary cities after all

Well by that measure of “encouraging” you can say the same thing for every modern President.

1.) Increase border security.

2). Jail illegal employers.

3). Improve conditions in the countries illegal immigrants are coming from.

That won’t do anything for the majority of illegals who are seeking out and turning themselves into BP, then uttering the magic asylum words and kicked loose into the interior with an NTA years down the road. Reinstating Remain in Mexico as we had under Trump would put an end to this, but Brandon and his stooge Mayorkus won’t do it.

Lawl a leftist donk mayor who supported sanctuary city policies getting his comeuppance. These are the same people who accused anyone who wanted to secure the border of being a NAZI, hating brown people, yada, yada, but now that the problem has arrived in their backyards, they suddenly want to call it a crisis and change course. Well the chickens are coming home to roost.

Worldly enough to appreciate the history of immigration goes back further than 2021 and to see it took you two separate posts to reply to my one.

Why should we pay to fix other countries? They should do that themselves. I used to be a supporter of immigration now I think we should lock our borders down with military and not let anyone in for 20 years. This invasion is a direct assault on our country and when the bad stuff happens because of it I will not be on your side crying about the atrocity I will be laughing and saying I told you so.

It’s a bad investment, check out what happened to bond investors that loaned cash to Puerto Rico just to see it all go down the drain, and Puerto Rico is a US territory meaning US has some control. You start “investing” in Central America and your going to get very little in return

Meh…sometimes it works, sometimes it’s a mixed bag, sometimes it’s a failure depending on who it goes to (governments, NGO’s, international organizations, etc).

From the perspective of oil and banana companies it’s been a great success.

Do you know what keeps Puerto Ricans in Puerto Rico? It ain’t the scenery. It’s the “Lifestyle” created by Dems . Free food, free place to live and god knows what other freebies they can get. You take that away from and Puerto Ricans would be almost empty
