I can see that neither recent nor decades old history are your forte.
Sometimes you have to look in the mirror and stop pointing fingers

Biden is horrible because of who he is
God I hope this was intentionally ironic.

I wouldn’t say he’s horrible. He’s been a corporatist establishment guy his whole career. Similar to Obama, he talks a good progressive game but the follow up has been meh. I tend to not like those guys as much. Gavin Newsome fits the same mold. His biggest flaw to date has been in enabling Israel. That’s followed by his VP choice and decision to run again.

President’s are not omnipotent. He was handed some challenges. Most presidents have.

So I’d give him C+ to B-.

He’s not Trump. That’s his biggest attribute.

Biden was never a progressive until his handlers told him it’s your only path to the WH, and Joey Rotten reflected back on his 1988 presidential run and barely remembered how plegearism didn’t work, the souless idiot said ok… where do I sign

CH is right, biden is an opportunist who will say and do what is necessary to advance his career. He would have been a C President in 1988. Now that he's into advanced dotage, he's at the mercy of his handlers and pushed short-sighted policies like the oxymoronically named Inflation Reduction Act and has slipped to a D/D-.

kalm is correct, is greatest attribute is that he's not trump who grades in at a D-/F for his final year in office and anticipated grade if reelected.

We've really got 2 piles of shit to choose from at the moment.

They're far enough apart that the "six-of-one-half-dozen-of-the-other argument doesn't apply, but thank for being consistent at least

There’s a sizable gulf between Trump and rational Republicans like Romney, McCain, or even Bush.

biden might not be in trump's league but he's a lot more corrupt then either of you think he is. And the criticism of his mental health is valid.

It's a matter of time before pseudo-progressives say hold my beer and attempt to one-up trump and high MAGAt yahoos when it comes to trying to force their agenda on others. And when that happens you two will be on here defending/deflecting just like SG and BDKKKaren are doing for trump and MAGAt yahoos.

Joe is old and has lost a step. The question is verbal gaffes which we all see vs. cognitive ability which is less apparent absent of serious testing. Personally I think Joe should not have run again and I still think he should get out of the race. My gut is still leaning in that direction.

Unfortunately, the heir apparent is either Kamala or Newsome, both of whom match Joe on the corrupt politician level. Practically every single member of Congress is corrupt. It’s systemic.

How has Joe proven to be a cut above? If you say Ukraine, there’s equal evidence of that from the Putin-Trump-Rudy-Manafort team. If not greater.

No not fake news

The Border has been wide open for 3 years and we have no idea who’s here… that’s dangerous

Idiotic on Afghanistan withdrawal ignoring advice of senior military proves dangerous with the loss of service members

Emboldens China and could be comprised = dangerous

War in The Ukraine where Putin has taken advantage of his weakness twice now

Has allowed the military to fall apart with Woke leadership. He enabled losers that wasted time and money getting useless degrees by paying off college loans for them. No sense joining military for educational benefits if I can just sit home and let Joey pay

Now Iran….

Sorry but your attitude of “as long as it’s not Trump” blinded you from the reality of just who Biden is and puts the country at much greater risk … Pat yourself on the back for believing Biden is less dangerous than COVID

His verbal gaffes alone aren't what I worry about. I worry that they are a sign of more serious mental issues. Question: ignoring his age-related physical limitations, would you want your kids to ride on a bus that biden was driving? I absolutely wouldn't. If he doesn't have the mental acuity to drive a bus then he doesn't have the mental acuity to be President.

Do you think his corruption is limited to Ukraine? Or that it's all related to hunter? If he's corrupt now then he's probably been corrupt for a long time, trading votes and influence for more than just campaign contributions. Not so brazenly that there's enough fire to prosecute and convict but there's enough smoke for me to believe that he's dirty. And my opinion doesn't require a conviction.

He's also been accused of sexual assault once (rather than trump's 26 times) and he has that creepy habit of sniffing women's hair.

He's better than trump but IMO the difference between them isn't nearly as great as you think.

only Tedious88, the Arbiter of Objectivity, is unbiased - and if he says there is no difference between the crooked politician and the crooked politician/serial sexual assaulter/target of 91 felony counts then thats the way it is.

OK houndawSG, nice attempt to put words into my mouth so you don't have to argue against what I actually posted. I didn't say there was "no difference" between them, I said "biden might not be in trump's league but he's a lot more corrupt then either of you think he is."
Speaking of putting words in mouths: You have no idea how corrupt I think he is.

I assume that anybody who has spent 50 years in Congress must be thoroughly corrupt. However thouroughly corrupt doesn't even scratch the surface of the evil homunculus they call "Trump". :coffee:
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.
