The most outrageously idiotic unimaginable things? Like inciting a riotous mob to attempt to prevent the certification of an election and the Constitutional transfer of power? Or arranging for fraudulent slates of electors? Or calling state officials to try and bully them into "finding" votes or not certifying election results? Or defying a subpoena and obstructing the return of classified documents?Caribbean Hen wrote: ↑Thu Feb 29, 2024 9:40 amGlobalism 101
Do the most outrageously idiotic unimaginable things

Open the border let 25 million new Dem voters in enticed with all the enabling benefits… create dependency on big gov with the masses
Create extra house seats filled by liberal USA hating squads
In about 15 years when they grow up and start leaning conservative ….
Open borders again
If Republican miraculously gets elected… double down on lying and envoke 4th estate
This has all been planned out very well by the connivers

The same speech he said:
If saying ‘fight like hell’ is grounds for inciting a riot, then all these donks, including Biden, Harris, Warren, amd a bunch of others should be charged for the same:peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard..

It wasn't just a riot, it was a seditious riot whose objective was to prevent the Constitutional transfer of power and keep trump in office.

It was an inept banana republic like coup attempt. The man who encouraged the mob should be investigated, tried and if found guilty never allowed to hold office again.

Notice you don’t mention price gouging above increased expenses.BDKJMU wrote: ↑Sun Mar 03, 2024 2:57 pmNo was:
1.Liquidity: Increased $$ supply by 30% in 2 years with fiat currency. Included 3 rounds of stimulus checks, which resulted in too much $$ chasing too few good and services.
2. Interest rates: Zero % for over a year.
3.Labor shortages and increases costs: Paid people not to work for up to a yr and a half with extended, enhanced unemployment,
It really is that simple.

Price gouging didn't cause the inflation. You could argue that gouging (both intentional and unintentional) prolonged the inflationary period, but if you don't lose control of in the first place then you don't get the opportunity for gougers to pile on. Gouging wasn't a cause, it was a result.kalm wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2024 5:15 amBDKJMU post_ wrote:Sun Mar 03, 2024 11:53 pm

Everyone except for the consumer. Again, don't let inflation get out of hand in the first place (i.e. rampant and sudden increase in government spending, giving a shock to the supply of money) and none of this happens. Predictable, stable, and low inflation is and has always been the goal of the Fed (at least in modern times). When they take their eye off the ball and go hand in hand with feel good handouts of money with a willing Executive branch (and a Congress to sign off) then we get what we got - self-inflicted inflationary excess that we're still climbing out of now.kalm wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2024 10:12 amGannonFan wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2024 9:29 am

The Fed was first created was to avert banking panics which can be caused by several things, Covid being an example of one of them. Was the spigot left on too long? Perhaps. But not before further wealth concentration and inflated profits were had.GannonFan wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2024 10:35 amEveryone except for the consumer.
