I don't understand all the mental gymnastics here to say that one thing is true while something else isn't true, and just built on your own political partisanship.

1) The laptop was certainly real and the media willingly fed a disinformation campaign to the public to pretend it wasn't real to minimize any damage to Biden's election campaign.
2) Trump and associates certainly reached out to Russian sources and contacts to help with his election campaigns in both 2016 and 2020.
3) Both Trump and Clinton used Russian sources, in 2016 and in 2020, to help find dirt on their political opponents, and Russia was more than happy to provide either real or fake information.

If anything came out of those first 4 years with Trump, it's that the American system worked - checks and balances and the setup of the government worked to ensure that one person couldn't contort government to be at the control of a dictator. Just doesn't work that way. If Trump is elected again, which is a very real possibility, it's just going to be 4 years and that's it. He'll already be a lame duck the moment he takes office. He's not Putin, he's not Orban, and America will be no closer to a fascist state than we are now (and we're not one now).
