Cool, your definition of freedom is way different than mine.
What could your definition be, do whatever you want, wherever you want, no matter the impact on other people's freedoms? Even libertarians recognize the concept of one person's freedoms impinging on another's and adjust accordingly. So you're saying you even go beyond libertarians? So you're an anarchist? :coffee:
I'm just asking for freedom.

I don't smoke but smoking is legal, unless you do it in a bar on a plane or in a mall. Pocket knifes are legal unless you are in a federal building a presidential library on on a plane. If its legal it should be legal across the board. Same with guns, they should be like drivers licenses and valid in all 50 states. If only there was an amendment in our constitution that guaranteed that right. You can have freedom her but not here is bullshit

Don’t I have as much of a right not to breathe secondhand smoke as a smoker has to smoke?

Are these important enough to say we don’t have freedom? Kind of like how not being able to yell fire in a crowded theater means we don’t have freedom.

I’m more worried about woke liberals pushing theories as fact and religious zealots banning books / arguing that the US is a Christian nation.

And I’ll ask again.

Are these the type of things to wage civil wars over?

Drink, smoke, carry a pocket knife. Maybe not have nazi stewardesses with a little power try and get people thrown off planes because they can.
I remember when smoking was allowed on airplanes. I'm glad they don't allow that anymore.
Bitch please. If they allowed smoking weed on an airplane you'd bring a couple huge joints.

I blame the Ivy educated "leaders" who have us 35 trillion in debt. I blame politicians that have unleashed inflation on our country trying to crush the middle class, I blame politicians that legislate hate, gun control laws, Patriot act and the dept of homeland security, I blame people that let criminals cross our borders and I blame people that make looting and rioting acceptable.

Its not that great and we are definitely not that free.
What are you not free to do that you think you should be free to do? Other than the speed limits and paying taxes, I pretty much can do whatever I want and live wherever I want in this country. What's not free about that?

Oh, and btw, the last I checked Penn is an Ivy League school, does that mean you're anti-Trump because of his alma mater? Heck, Vance went to Yale. Two Ivy Leaguers on that ticket.
How about not getting an unneeded vaccine and keep my job or not have my life ruined?

How many people are active on Twitter or X or whatever they call it? A couple a million ?

If there’s any Civil War, it’s going on under the radar. People are basically still free to move out of democrat run states that are crime ridden overtaxed vice grips of government overreach and moving into common sense states…

NY ? I have no idea how they’re going to pay for their progressive socialist agenda with all the tax dollars flowing out of that state.

So you want big government to tell employers what they can and can’t do. How RINO of you. ;)

I thought trump’s accomplishments/goals included reducing regulations.

Again…it’s not the casual observers of politics. In the OP I showed two political leaders who directly reference it. One of them has overseen the 900 page GOP road map. Others like Trump have implied it.

It’s leadership from your group who are talking about it. Just like it was leadership from your group that incited J6. Twitter is just another vehicle. It’s not required to create doubt and divisiveness through propaganda.

Fuck you. Had the mandate not been overturned, I would have lost my job. They held the loss of my employment over my head in order to force me to get an unneeded and detrimental to my health vaccine.

You really need to stay out of this one. Your stance fucked millions over.

Yes. I hoped more people (especially political leaders on the right) had taken precautions and listened to the best medical experts in the world. Including social distancing. Ironic btw,how so many of the anti-vaxxers pushed back against social distancing. Similar to how ironic it was that Ronald Reagan took down Carters Whitehouse solar panels.

I’m sorry that I wanted a greater sense of community, fewer deaths and a quicker return to normal.

You don't get it. There was nothing anyone could do. It's fact. Covid gonna Covid...and it did. Best experts in the world. Nonsense. The masks and the vaccines did nothing to slow the pandemic. The transmission rate was very low, so we did well keeping apart. Your argument is shit.

This is true. And also how scientific and medical advancements are made.

Most civil wars are fought over this very idea.
