But, as we went over numerous times in the past, a sitting President would either have to be in agreement with the 25th being utilized, or 2/3 of both House of Congress would need to agree to remove him. If Trump thinks he can do the job and doesn't want to step aside, it would be difficult to remove him.

With that being said, the GOP could learn from the Dem's mistake. One can easily argue that if Biden had stepped aside much earlier, even a year or two earlier (and he wouldn't have had to entirely step aside, he just could've said he wasn't going to run for reelection) then the Dems could have had a real nomination process and a real campaign, rather than trying to piece something together since just early July. Their nominee would likely be in a far stronger position since we never would've had the whole hiding of Biden's true condition go on for as long as it did. And the eventual nominee would be far more vetted and prepared for the general election. Heck, the Dems could've really used age as an issue then, saying Biden already knew he was too old for the job and they would've had a year or two to drill down on Trump's age.

If the Dems do go down in defeat and there's a second inaugural address by Trump in January, there'll be a lot of finger pointing on the Dem side, and one big factor will be Biden not getting out of the way much sooner.
