Wait until you find out about psylocibin. I know a couple of people who micro dose therapeutically. It’s shown positive outcomes in treating PTSD, depression, and anxiety. Not to mention it can be quite enjoyable and like weed is certainly less toxic and harmful than booze.

The real crime Adams committed was telling the truth about Biden and Cruella's border disaster

He said the migrant crisis is ruining NYC and it might never recover, big no no to speak the truth against the vindictive Joey Rotten

Trump was right again

When Eric Adams told the truth about Joey Rottens treasonous crimes and how he was not only destroying NYC but ignoring the problem completely, he probably wasn't aware he was going to be indicted for it

When Trump saw what Adams said about the JoeBozo administration, he predicted that Adams would be indicted within the year

Adams is the fall guy, a black dem they can prosecute in attempt to make the DOJ look fair and honest ,...... a complete joke

How many Democrats spoke up about Joey Rottens border disaster?

How many came out and told the American people that the President was losing his mind and puts everyone at risk?

None

Not enough apparently. And welcome to the two party system. Don’t look to me to defend the Democratic Party once facts prove of their malfeasance.

Josseli Barnica grieved the news as she lay in a Houston hospital bed on Sept. 3, 2021: The sibling she’d dreamt of giving her daughter would not survive this pregnancy.

The fetus was on the verge of coming out, its head pressed against her dilated cervix; she was 17 weeks pregnant and a miscarriage was “in progress,” doctors noted in hospital records. At that point, they should have offered to speed up the delivery or empty her uterus to stave off a deadly infection, more than a dozen medical experts told ProPublica.

But when Barnica’s husband rushed to her side from his job on a construction site, she relayed what she said the medical team had told her: “They had to wait until there was no heartbeat,” he told ProPublica in Spanish. “It would be a crime to give her an abortion.”

For 40 hours, the anguished 28-year-old mother prayed for doctors to help her get home to her daughter; all the while, her uterus remained exposed to bacteria.

Three days after she delivered, Barnica died of an infection.

The main reason why if the Republicans lose the election (President, Senate control, House control, or whatever) should be because of their absolutely inane and imbecilic passing of laws following Dobbs that just defy all medical soundness. Not being able to abort unviable fetuses, not being able to abort babies who are 100% going to be stillborn, not being able to resort to abortions to save the life of the mother, etc, are just fantastically stupid ideas that somehow got into law and resulted in actual people dying as a result. The pro-life movement should've been ready at the get-go post Dobbs (they had 50 years to get ready) to come to the table with sensible laws that protected commonsense procedures where "abortion" procedures would be allowed, but instead, while they were spiking the ball in the endzone, they let unqualified and ignorant lawmakers in various states pass such draconian and insane laws that pissed off enough people that they'll still be fighting an uphill abortion battle against an energized base (like they did in 2022) through this election and many elections to come. Again, it wasn't the Dobbs decision that did this, but far more so the legislative actions of misguided and uninformed lawmakers. Shame on them.

You can be against abortion, especially after viability, but also be against some of the more draconian laws passed by GOP led state legislatures.

I don’t disagree with much of your post. However, this happened in TX. TX is staying red, and Cruz isn’t losing to Alred. All of these ‘draconian and insane laws’ as you put it have been passed in a handful of solid red states. Now could it cost the conks a contested House seat in one of these states? Maybe. I haven’t been following House seat contests in deep red states.

Have any of the 7 battlegrounds passed ‘draconian and insane’ abortion laws or have them in the ballot?

Also, FWIW the #/rate of abortions nationwide have gone up since Dobbs.

Draconian abortion restrictions aren’t as feasible in purple states. Georgia and Arizona are probably the closest.

The proof of voter dissatisfaction is in the ballot measures to make abortion legal in red states like florida.

deconkis is resorting to scorched earth tactics using government agencies and resources to intimidate supporters and defeat the measure.

Sure, in their home state currently, many of these women are protected. But it's not hard to think of someone moving, or having to live in another state due to a job, or heck, even just traveling through a state. It's easy to dredge up a vision of a future daughter or daughter-in-law being in one of these states and having their health put at risk due to extremely poorly written laws that abandon sound medical practice. Whether it's in their state or not, it's just one more thing that drives people to the polls to vote. They did it in 2022, and to a decent extent they'll do it again in 2024. Whether it's enough to tilt enough battleground states remains to be seen, but it also didn't have to be this way. Legislate with a couple of actively firing neurons and this doesn't happen.

How will doneOLD vote on the Florida abortion ballot measure?

He'll vote for it if he's truly "against some of the more draconian laws passed by GOP led state legislatures." If he votes against then he's just lied about it to pander for votes. :coffee:
