IMO, there was no way Shapiro was going to sign up to be second fiddle in an abbreviated campaign, coupled with a sitting administration with such negatives. That would be a quick way to nullify him being able to run in 2028 if last night happened, which it did. Sure, the Dems didn't carry the state he's the governor of, and even one of the longtime Democratic senators from his state looks to be going down to defeat, but if he's the politician he's touted to be, he can be a leading contender for the Democratic nomination in 2028. The field's kinda wide open for him. As to whether he'd have a legit shot in the general election in 2028, that all really depends on how the next 4 years in Trump's last term goes.

And yes, Harris failing the standard interview question "what would you have done differently than Biden in the last four years" was a real interview flop on her part. Probably any other answer than what she gave would've been better.

Barbara Heinback, a former white house staffer, is dropping truth bombs on Scamala

didn't have the decency to come out and face her supporters and at least say something

classless

sore loser

America is relived that don't have to put up with her

Biden hand selected his woman of color and he was wrong agian

not selecting Shapiro because she's so completely insecure that she could not have someone that bright to upstage her

even Willie Brown told the Dems not to make her the VP but give her a position somewhere

Complete sweep of the swing states, in some cases comfortably, and Trump even had coattails tonight in many Senate and House races. Plenty of blame to go around for the Dems, but a lot of it will have to land on Biden. Had the worst economy since Carter and luckily for the Dems the election wasn't as bad as it was in 1980, but still bad.

Just an incredibly historic election in US history, shocking really. Definitely will be the stuff of tons of history books to come in the future (right along the ones deciphering who was really running the government in Biden's administration).

Certainly opens up 2028 as another crazy election year - like in 2016, there will be no incumbent (barring Trump dropping dead or handing it off to Vance mid-term - Dems will always ponder why they didn't do that right after the 2022 mid terms) and no former President, and the Dems will have to wonder how to pull any of this back and the GOP will have to wonder how not to squander it too quickly.

Oh, and Clarence Thomas is already circling his retirement date - as one last middle finger to the left that demonized him since his nomination fight (and not all of it without merit) he's bound to be bouncing off the walls to pick his own time to leave and to be replaced by a conservative judge.
Uh, pretty much everyone who wasn't following the MSM. Holy shit, if you'd open your eyes to independent media, you wouldn't be so blind. Why do you think I'm giving Klan shit? Because he did the same as you and bought the MSNBC version of events.

Stewart is right about pollsters. 2016 they under counted Trump. 2020 they undercounted Trump. 2024 they undercounted Trump. It’s no wonder that a large chunk of MAGA refuses to talk to these people.

There were a lot of factors here that were difficult to predict.
- Would voters hold trump responsible for January 6?
- Would trumps increasing gaffes and odd behavior impact votes?
- Would trump's appeal to machismo win over black and Latino males?
- Would pro-Palestinian liberals refrain from voting for Harris?
- How much would frustration with the inflation, illegal immigration, etc. impact harris?
- How would growing distrust for the "establishment" impact harris?

Now we get to see what trump actually tries to implement and how it plays out in the courts.

Oh stop it, where were your posts on here declaring a red wave coming? If you follow those all the time then why weren't you making those predictions? As for independent media, the problem is, there are so many of them, I could find tons who did predict what happened yesterday, but also find tons that predicted just the opposite. There are too many and they're basically a roll of the dice. It's like playing roulette and placing a bet on every number. Sure, one will be right, but you lost far more than you won.

Rasmussen dude. He's been talking about what his polling has been seeing for months. He's great because he points out his limitations and informs a person.

As for finding new sources, just find them and start winnowing down if their predictions/analysis isn't truthful.

People like this, a data analyst who explains why they got their totals. You know, showing your work.

Now we just need to account for Joe Biden getting 20 million more votes than Obama, Hillary and Kamala. Racist Dems.

71 million votes for Trump, 3 million less than 2020
And 66 million for Harris, 14 million less than Biden
2020.

Why ?

Simple, millions chose not to vote for either piece of shit.

Also, 3 million fewer votes than 2020 doesn’t sound like much of a mandate.
