As of yesterday, Texas A&M-Commerce is officially known as East Texas A&M University. It seems weird and annoying to do this in November and not in-between academic years in the summer, but whatever…

Didn't Houston Christian change in the middle of last year from Houston Baptist?

They did it in September (and it was 2 years ago). Looking that one up: they approved the change in May, but the change didn't take effect until September 21 for some reason. :?
