Tell me you know nothing about healthcare and doctors without telling me you know nothing about healthcare and doctors.
And there’s Kalm denying they are a left wing advocacy group.
I deal with conspiracy driven, miracle cure, health contrarians on a daily basis. I’ve dealt with both terrific and shitty doctors all the time. Doctors are human. Their political leanings don’t matter as long as it doesn’t get in way of following best practices.

What’s sad is Kennedy actually has some good points to make about health but to defend him in any way for this position is idiotic.

You’re over your skis here.

Blah blah doesn’t change the fact that the ‘Committee To Protect’ is a left wing advocacy group calling for Kennedy to not be confirmed. Go to their website. All they do is endorse democrats and embrace the left wing ideologies currently infecting health care.

Despite this, RFK Jr. has spent decades undermining public confidence in vaccines, spreading false claims and conspiracy theories, even going so far as comparing vaccination programs to Nazi Germany. His organization, Children's Health Defense, has fueled the long-debunked myth that vaccines cause autism. This falsehood – based on a retracted study by a doctor who lost his medical license – has generated widespread distrust in life-saving vaccines, leaving children unprotected from preventable diseases and communities at risk of outbreaks.

As doctors, we have witnessed the real-world consequences of this disinformation. In2019, RFK Jr. visited Samoa and amplified doubts about the safety of measles vaccines. After his visit, vaccination rates plummeted from 60 percent to just 31 percent, sparking a measles outbreak that killed 83 people–most of them children under the age of five. RFK Jr.'s actions directly contributed to this tragedy, and exemplify the tangible dangers of disinformation promoted by an influential public figure.

Beyond vaccines, President-Elect Donald Trump's HHS pick has a long record of spreading baseless conspiracies, including linking school shootings to antidepressants, claiming COVID-19 was engineered to spare specific ethnic groups, and promoting discredited COVID-19 treatments like hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. Such statements not only lack scientific merit but also actively erode public trust in evidence-based medicine and endanger the patients we are committed to protecting. His agenda has no place in public health leadership.

To make matters worse, RFK Jr. lacks any credible experience in health care or medicine. He has vowed to gut the staff, funding, and resources of federal health agencies responsible for protecting public health, effectively dismantling the public health infrastructure we depend on to prevent disease and improve health outcomes. RFK Jr.'s rhetoric and actions endanger the health of millions, especially children, by undermining trust in essential healthcare. His appointment threatens to reverse decades of progress in improving health outcomes for patients across the country and the world. This is not leadership – it's sabotage.

So partisanship and owning the libs is more important in your book than sound medical advice and appointing a qualified candidate.

Color me shocked.

If you’re seriously ill, do you ask each specialist their political takes?

Would you refuse anesthesia if the anesthesiologist is a POC or woman? On account of all POC and women are DEI hires?

My gastroenterologist who is also a transplant surgeon is an Indian woman. Probably voted for Harris too. Would it be wise to search for a red hat wearing, road kill eating herbologist instead?

I warned you about continuing to travel down the highway of stupid.

Whatever docs you personally see (where often your choice is limited or there is none) and their politics has nothing to do with a lib medical advocacy group coming out against Kennedy.

And that’s rich coming from you with you continuing to ‘travel down the highway of stupid’ after getting your ass beat on numerous topics on here over the years..

Can we talk about the 83 people (most of them children under the age of five) who died in Samoa after rfk jr spoke there about safety of measles vaccines and vaccine rates dropped 60%?

Or what about the worm that ate his brain? Is the worm still there? Is it running his body and his mouth?

You haven't dealt with doctors on the back end and have no clue how they aren't following "good decisions". I've got multiple real life examples of how they only care about the $$$'s and not really you as a person.

Kennedy is a great choice.

The worm that ate Kennedy's brain and is controlling his body is a great choice.

How are you going to whitewash his role in the deaths of the Samoans who died of measles?

rfk jr is spot on as far as the diet and exercise habits of average Americans, unfortunately the whackadoodle beliefs (vaccines cause autism, etc.) make him a questionable nominee.

How many vaccines have been tested against true placebos ( salt water)? How many have long term safety studies?

You answer those, then we can talk junior.

By the way, I have the list, so I know the answer, just want to see how much knowledge you have on the subject.

Is the measles vaccine more dangerous than measles itself? Would the families of Samoans who died of measles after they listened to kennedy agree with you?

kennedy has some good ideas and some whackadoodle ideas. Why are you intent on downplaying the importance of his whackadoodle ideas?

Bitch please. He's going to be the side of scientific inquiry that needs to be asked. I doesn't mean he will be right, but he will shut up a vast amount of Americans. People only want to see the data.

How is my argument ruined? Certainly not by you ducking my questions.

Or, are you really arguing that the measles outbreak on Samoa after kennedy spoke out against vaccines was a coincidence? Would the families of Samoans who died of measles after they listened to kennedy agree with you?

Because I asked first. You don't get to pull your usual here where you deflect by trying to ask some ridiculous questions you don't even know the facts over. So, answer the questions that were asked first. How many of the child vaccines were tested against true placebos and how many have long term safety studies?

You answer my question, which was asked first, then I'll address your unsupported claim about Samoa.

Take it easy, ‘88. SG is also an internet certified expert on subtropical measles outbreaks and virology.

Consider yourself warned.
