Then I can't wait for his upcoming Senate confirmation hearing.

Without that he's unelected, unappointed, unapproved and most importantly, trampling all over our Constitution.

Too bad. Lots of high ranking govt positions don’t require Senate confirmation. Not trampling over squat except liberals and swamp deep staters feelings. Elections have consequences.

Name one who’s attempted what Elon has in the past week alone. Not to mention the unitary executive creation of the faux DOGE.

You’re right on elections have consequences though Thanks Dems). Elect a cold who likes to play pretend president without consequences and reap from your own inadequacies.

They've trampled all over the Constitution (separation of powers and more), a variety of laws regarding dismissing civil servants as well as tried to con government employees into accepting a non-existent/invalid retirement offer.

You're okay with it because you're okay with anything trump does. Doesn't matter if it's legal or ethical.

Here's a few off the top of my head ...

Freezing payments already authorized by Congress is a violation of the separation of powers (Congress holds the purse strings not the executive).

Before firing inspectors general, the President is required to give Congress 30 days notice. trump didn't.

Offering buyouts to federal workers if they resign/retire requires Congressional approval for the funding.

They haven’t trampled on the Constitution, or any laws dismissing civil servants.
Its not an invalid retirement offer.

Offering buyouts to federal workers if they resign/retire requires Congressional approval for the funding. The offer was bogus from the start but I think trump knows that and never had any intention of honoring the "deal".

Wrong on USAID. They are an agency created by Exec Order (Kennedy), and their funding is ‘untied money’, which means Congress allocates them their annual budget, but doesn’t authorize where the $$$ goes.

Wrong on buyouts for Fed workers. Congress has already approved the funding to pay them through the end of the fiscal year (9/30). If they don’t take the buyout they work and get paid 2/7-9/30. If they take the buyout they get an 8 month paid vacation 2/7-9/30. Doesn’t change the FY 2025 funding. The offer isn’t bogus. Its real Bubba.

WRONG! There was no agreement under Biden for Mexico or Canada to send 10,000 additional troops to border.

boom

kind of a shame Mexico has to be treated like a spoiled enabled child to get them to make an effort to stop the flow of drugs

WASHINGTON/BRUSSELS (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump will pause new tariffs on Mexico for one month after Mexico agreed to reinforce its northern border with 10,000 National Guard members to stem the flow of illegal drugs, particularly fentanyl, he said on Monday on social media.

He initially froze much more than just USAID funds. Rescinding the order doesn't mean it wasn't attempted.

Employment lawyer discusses what Trump offer to federal employees to resign would do
I actually don't consider it so much an offer. I think it's a request to resign with a vague promise that, potentially, you could be kept in administrative leave status for up to eight months - but no guarantees.
...
I would absolutely not describe it as a buyout. I think that's a very misleading term to use in this situation. When you think of a buyout, there's usually some sort of written agreement or a concrete offer to provide a benefit in exchange for waiving certain rights. That is not the case here.
...
First thing we tell them is exercise extreme caution. There are no guarantees contained in this email. The only thing I can tell you for certain is that if you change your mind, the agency's probably not going to let you withdraw that resignation, and you are essentially giving up control over a lot.
...
Folks near retirement need to be the most careful because leaving earlier than intended can have serious consequences, potentially, on their benefits.
Vague promise is a much better description than offer.
