This isn’t a terrible EWU team. We’ve lost a ton of games in the last few minutes including UNC and the Griz. Almost gave up a lead in this one. Still learning how to close out.

eGriz rumors involve some sort of "altercation."

Bobcatnation rumor: "Can’t put your hands on a woman in the workplace." :?

He's technically on leave, but I can't see Holsinger being the Lady Griz head coach again. The team wasn't doing well on the court, fans were already starting to call for his head, and now we have this. It's also his contract year, I believe, so UM doesn't really lose anything by shedding him. I don't mind, really—he came off as an arrogant douche from the beginning.
Now it is official. Holsinger is out as head coach of the Montana Lady Griz.

This deal with Holsinger seems like an overly protective move by UM. It the rumors are true—Holsinger allegedly shoved one of his female assistants into a wall—I don't see what chance he would've had in a lawsuit. Holsinger was AD Kent Haslam's guy (he supposedly ignored the search committee's recommendation when he hired him), so this is another page to add to the sizable file titled "How the Fuck Does Kent Haslam Still Have a Job?" :?:

Apparently not having a crowd disrupts NAU's shooting better than having a crowd does. :?

PSU 74-82 ISU; Dylan Darling puts up 16 points and 13 assists
No consistency from this Viking team. This current team is probably the best PSU has had since Bone's tournament teams. They can beat anyone at home and can lose to anyone on the road. It should make for an interesting conference tournament but the Viks should be better than this. Extremely frustrating as a fan.

2/22 Games

Post by Mvemjsunpx »

  • Men

SAC 66-83 ISU; These two teams combined to shoot better from the field (50.5%) than they did from the line (50.0%)
PSU 58-60 WEB; Blaise Threatt makes the game-winner and scores a game-high 27
EWU 67-87 NAU; The Lumberjacks shot 62%, their highest mark in a game in at least 10 years (their stat page only goes back to '15-16)
UMT 89-85 MSU; The Bobcats went 20/33 from the line and missed 2 and-one FTs that would've collectively tied the game late
IDA 74-92 UNC; The Vandals shoot 37% in the second half after shooting 61% in the first

    Women

NAU 88-77 EWU; The 'Jacks scored 34 in the third quarter, one more than they scored in the entire first half
WEB 71-56 PSU; Kendra Parra flirts with a triple-double, putting up 20 points, 10 assists, and 7 boards
ISU 50-41 SAC; Benthe Versteeg almost had a triple-double in the loss (15 points, 11 boards, 9 assists)
    UNC 59-77 IDA; Olivia Nelson scores a career-high 34
UMT 66-98 MSU; This was MSU's most lopsided win in the history of the rivalry, breaking the previous mark by 8 points (70-46, 2021)
