Define fascism and it’s origin using your own words, Bob.
Origin - 2024 created by Donald Trump just as he has created so many jobs and opportunities for others

Definition - Anything Trump does

You will probably argue this too!

Zelenskyy has said he is eager to negotiate peace, a day after Trump moved to pause military aid to Ukraine. How many Donks walked out of the SOTU when Trump announced that. Donks looked worse than Trump last night with their staged walkouts, and that is a very bad look.

No Gil. The Nazi’s were not socialists. Neither were the original Italian fascists. They were corporatists. They both hated socialism. In fact part of fascism was a rejection of socialism.

The Nazi’s started out by courting industrialists…then became a one party autocracy similar to Russia today. The socialist in the name was to entice workers to join. The original Nazi party were small business owners.

It’s not about Trumps dim wit. It’s about leverage and intimidation and who he’s surrounded by.

That’s what authoritarians do…fascistic or socialistic. That doesn’t make the Nazi’s actual socialists.

It would be like calling Putin’s Russia socialist.

That's one opinion. There are others that disagree ...

Were the Nazis Socialists?
Were the Nazis socialists? No, not in any meaningful way, and certainly not after 1934.
The Nazis Weren’t Socialists — They Were Hypercapitalists
Right-wingers love to insist that members of Adolf Hitler’s party were socialists. But Nazism’s real economic policies upheld hypercapitalist principles rooted in social Darwinist ideas about the value of human life. They weren’t socialists at all.

One of the most tiresome arguments leveled against socialism claims that Nazism was somehow “socialist,” and so something the Left needs to answer for. Adolf Hitler’s men marshaled the economy for war, put the state above the individual — and, as the killer argument, they even called themselves “National Socialists.”

Checkmate? Not quite. Even aside from the fact that other conservative and liberal parties actually voted for full powers to Hitler in 1933, his regime was characterized by massive interventions to help out private business. And the social Darwinism championed by the Nazis, counting the “unproductive” as mere wasteful expense, obeyed the logic of judging human life by the yardstick of profit.
That last line definitely isn't socialist and sounds llke turmp, musk and some CS posters.

You know what they say about opinions.

True, but were also under the thumb of the NAZI regime, esp after the onset of “Four Year Plan’ in 1936, and more so after the war started. Sure they were privately owned, but they had to do what they were told. The heads of companies cooperated or they got removed.

biden didn't try to sell out Ukraine (our ally) to curry favor with a brutal dictator, trump did (which is the point of the comic). The fact you want the genocide of the Ukrainian people and identity is telling.

You're a broken record repeating the same bullshit FAKE NEWS over and over.

I'd suggest a trip to the minors (AGS) to up your game but that's too much of a MAQA yahoo echo chamber and is unlikely to help get you back to being able to contribute substantive points. Maybe just stop regurgitating MAQA yahoo echo chamber talking points and start thinking for yourself again.

18's the age for selective service in this country. I don't see this as a thing to really debate, there are far bigger things than the draft age of conscripts in Ukraine.

You're correct it never had to happen. It happened because putin and russia invaded.

How would you propose this ends? A ceasefire and eventual peace agreement? Why should Zelensky and Ukraine trust putin this time? Should we list the agreements that putin has already broken? Will the US and Europe provide security agreements? Will putin accept them?

You act as if it's as simple as trump telling Zelensky that Ukraine has to agree to peace with putin and russia and then there will be peace and lives and money will be saved and we'll all sing kumbaya. It's not and pretending that it is plays into putin's hands. Do you want to be a russian stooge or think for yourself?

I've been on AGS. There were a couple of reasonable MAQA yahoo posters there but too many resorted to trying to gang up on dissenting opinions with name calling and emotion rather than reason and facts. Just because thousands of MAQA yahoos agree with/support something doesn't make it true.

How have you responded when kalm has criticized biden and asked you to do the same about trump?
