It’s called “TACO,” which is code for “Trump Always Chickens Out,” and it refers to the president’s tendency to announce massive tariffs, causing the markets to plunge, only to back off days later, causing them to rise again.

Trump pardon policy ‘pretty gross’: Marc Short
In an interview on “CNN NewsNight with Abby Phillip,” the conservative commentator said that while he’ll defend a lot of President Trump’s policies, “I have no interest in defending his pardon policy.

“I think it’s been pretty gross,” Short added, noting he disagreed with the pardon policy of the first Trump administration, as well.

Short sharply criticized former President Biden’s record on pardons and said, “I think that’s what makes it difficult for Democrats to condemn” Trump’s record on pardons, adding, “just because of how gross Biden’s pardons were.”

“But it’s almost like he [Trump] saw what Biden [did] and said, ‘Hold my beer, I’m going to show you and even go farther,’” Short said.

It's part of the attack on higher education, higher learning and intellectual advancement. They're attacking/undermining:
- institutions of higher education
- international student visas
- sharing of information
- immigration that encourages the world's best & brightest to come to the USA

trump and his cronies appear to want Americans to be less educated, working blue collar jobs* and as susceptible as possible to believing whatever fertilizer they feed them.

* there is nothing wrong with blue collar jobs and we should do a better job of encouraging people to consider them but we SHOULD NOT be discouraging people from pursuing college degrees, especially in critical fields like STEM.

What are you talking about? Not only did you not complain, you have no idea how to develop "new trade". I don't remember you saying a peep on either.

We had an apartment in the city
Me and Loretta liked living there
Its been years since the kids have grown
a life of their own left us alone

John and linda live in Omaha
and Joey's somewhere on the road
and we lost Davy in the Korean War
and I still don't know what for
it don't matter anymore

You know that old trees just get stronger
old rivers grow wilder every day
old people just grow lonesome
waiting for somebody to say "Hello in there, hello"

Me and Loretta, we don't talk much anymore
she sits and stares through the back door screen

There are different ways to develop a new trade and manufacturing policy, negotiate tariffs and negotiate trade deals. Sorry…you lose on this issue too.
What are you talking about? Not only did you not complain, you have no idea how to develop "new trade". I don't remember you saying a peep on either.
Kind of like how we no longer hear a peep from you about elderly Presidents in obvious cognitive decline and high grocery prices. :coffee:

My golfing buddy Rick who I played a round with last night has Parkinson’s. He’s lost the ability to drive, his motor skills are starting to diminish, he has to start speech therapy soon, and requires meds to help his lungs work properly now. He was an EMT and county fire district chief who built a few custom homes on the side.

On behalf of Rick, fuck you.

Supreme Court hands Trump win on revoking parole for 500K foreign nationals

The Supreme Court on Friday stayed a lower court order that blocked the Trump administration from deporting roughly 500,000 migrants from Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela. The decision is a near-term victory for President Donald Trump as he moves to crack down on border security and immigration priorities in his second term…..

Trump goes after Leonard Leo and the Federalist Society in fury over court ruling
“I am so disappointed in The Federalist Society because of the bad advice they gave me on numerous Judicial Nominations,” he wrote. “This is something that cannot be forgotten!”
...
Trump’s relationship with the activist is known to have grown strained over Trump’s disappointment that the three conservative justices he appointed to the court on Leo’s advice did not intervene to keep Trump in office after he lost the 2020 presidential election.
...
But the full-on rupture evident in Trump’s social media post Thursday signals that Trump may now view nominees’ Federalist Society ties as toxic and any sign of a link to Leo could doom a potential nominee. That could lead to more extreme or inexperienced nominees for the federal bench, although all still require Senate confirmation.

Trump’s over-the-top trashing of Leo, a devout Catholic, as a “sleazebag” could further sour the president’s relationship with some longtime legal conservatives. A few have already publicly broken ranks with the president.
...
And at a time when much of Trump’s agenda is facing tests at the Supreme Court, Trump’s vitriolic attack on Leo has the potential to further distance the president from the court’s conservative justices. All three of Trump’s high court nominees, as well as Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, are known to be close to Leo.
More "it's not my fault", "I'm a victim", "the world is out to get me", "they're trump haters" excuses and temper tantrums from trump.

Maybe judges are ruling the way they are not because they hate you or they're radical lunatics but because what you're trying to do is against the laws of this country and the system is working as designed.

FTR - you can no longer claim to be a conservative when you trash the Federalist Society.

They are casting nets at a rate never done before for illegals aliens that have committed crimes in addition to EWI, including gangbangers. People also caught in the net who have only committed EWI aren‘t being ignored & cut loose as they have in the past.

Yep, considering who Biden pardoned, the left can’t say shit. One of many egregious examples- the drug dealer who murdered a mother and 8 year old boy to keep them from testifying that Biden granted clemency to..The TDS left can go fück themselves complaining about Trump‘s pardons.
