Example 10001 of why people hate the media, and why they are Fake News. The photo of the year:
-one that no one has ever seen before, of Biden about to walk into a fireplace.
-or the one of the most, if not the most, iconic presidential photo ever.

They Won't 'Say A Word': Republicans On Biggest Trump Hypocrisy
“Would anybody be surprised by that?” he asked. “Trump right now is selling the presidency like it’s a Kardashian Instagram page.”

“An intimate gathering for 220 scumbags,” Kimmel said, adding that many are foreigners trying to buy influence by purchasing the president’s coin.

“It’s so much more convenient than backing a U-Haul full of gold bars up to Mar-a-Lago,” Kimmel said, and noted that one watchdog organization called it the most “nakedly corrupt self-enrichment scheme” in U.S. presidential history.

“Which is pretty impressive for a guy who thinks crypto is where they buried the pope,” Kimmel said.

None of these Republicans who screamed bloody murder about the ‘Biden crime family’ say a word about the sitting president raking in cash like he’s a craps dealer at Caesars Palace,
Hmmm, that couldn't apply to any CS posters could it?

For all of Trump's faults, which are legion, the one he isn't is a "senile octagenarian". Dems trying to go down that road are just missing the point. Biden was senile, he was mentally reduced, and he was propped up like a puppet while folks who really ran the government attacked anyone and everyone who had the temerity to suggest Biden wasn't fit for the job. Trump isn't anything like that - sure, he's not fit for the job, but it has nothing to do with senility. He's a mega-narcissist with no barrier to breaking any norms or laws to enrich himself and his family. His policies are a roulette wheel of randomness with little regard to anything factual. Again, he's not senile, he just doesn't give a damn about anything other than having people adulate him and making money. We lose the narrative when we make up stuff.

The two cases have differences sure, but there’s a wealth of video and tweets suggesting Trump’s mental acuity goes beyond just his low IQ and malignant narcissism.

People Are Sharing Their Best Responses To MAGA Supporters' Incorrect, Hateful, Or Downright WEIRD Statements
1."I like to list Trump's worst policies, but pretend they're Harris or Biden policies. Then when a MAGA voter agrees the policies are awful, I tell them whose they truly are. They never know how to respond."
...
3."I was arguing with a MAGA supporter, and he said Biden had cognitive dissonance. I asked him to define the term, and he said it meant that 'No one was home upstairs.'"

I told him, 'You’re talking about cognitive decline. Cognitive DISSONANCE is what you're experiencing.'"

4."I knew someone who told her parents she was going out with a sexually abusive, convicted felon who had gone bankrupt four times. Her parents flipped out. Then she told them she was describing Trump."

5."I was talking to a (male) Trump supporter who was trying to blame the cost of healthcare on Biden. He said 'The government shouldn’t be in the doctor’s office' and I asked him, 'Does your stance on this apply to just men, or women too?'"

6."When someone tells me they voted for Trump because they’re a Christian, my response is always, 'Which one of Jesus’ teachings do you feel Trump most embodies?' I always get silence."

12.“I asked a Trump supporter, 'So you’re telling me you care more about money than the women in your life?' The next day, he told me it felt like I had punched him in the gut."

13."Someone walked into my store and told me to 'Buy American clothing,' so I followed up with, 'You first, babe, ' and asked to see the tag on the inside of their gross red hat."
...
20."My former boss was going on an anti-abortion rant, so I asked him, 'What about the lives of the two children you abandoned?' (He’s a deadbeat dad). I got fired."

23."I asked my dad if he would leave me alone in a room with Trump. Silence."

Hey, it was just advice from me, feel free to go down that rabbit hole if you like and pretend that it's anything close to what we saw, and what folks like you not only ignored but fought back against, when it came to Biden. And then we can continue to have Biden injected into so many conversations that we'll have a hard time getting back to the original and more important point of what Trump is doing now. But sure, pretend like you care about senility now. :coffee:

Is trump anywhere near as far gone as biden was? No.

He's always been prone to gaffes and saying outrageous things so it's difficult to be sure but I do think his mental acuity is slipping.

Unfortunately, that's a minor concern right now in comparison to his assault on the US Constitution.

What a stupid reply.

No one knew Biden’s issues for sure but like many after the debate, it was clear he was going to be a liability for Dems to win. I wanted a primary for his replacement too because despite your bad faith argument I’m no fan of the DNC.

Odd that you, Mr. Both Sides Do It, now ignore Trump’s clear mental issues.

The degree of mental decline isn't the point I was making, that's you moving the goalposts.

The point is that age and mental fitness is suddenly no longer an issue even when it is so clearly evident every time he emits sound - kinda like the high price of groceries are no longer an issue

Australia and Canada have had the most recent elections. The direction they went would be the one the world is apparently moving toward. :coffee:

Australia and Canada have had the most recent elections. The direction they went would be the one the world is apparently moving toward. :coffee:
Which would be to the right. 3 recent examples. France (2024) , Germany (2025) , and Canada (2025) had recent elections.

In France the National Rally got the most number of seats they’ve ever had by far (142, in 2022 was 89), and they were only prevented from a majority by having 200ish center and left candidates drop out of multiple candidate races. Is no majority for 1st time in French history, and the left’s coalition is a fragile one.

In Germany the center left collapsed, with the center right having the most votes, and as the left calls the ‘far right‘ AFD more than doubling their percentage, coming in second. In recent polling the AFD is now the most popular. Germany hasn‘t been this to the right since WWII.

In Canada, despite not winning. the Conservative Party had its best showing ever in its 32 year existence.

Wrong.

If you look at the expectations in Canada and Australia prior to trump taking office and then the results on election day itself you get a much different picture.
- In Canada, the conservative party had a 20+% lead in late 2024 but lost that substantial lead
- In Australia, the coalition was leading labour earlier in the year before it shifted and labour came from behind to win the election

trump is singlehandedly turning voters in other countries off to radical rightwing parties and policies.

You whining about the afd being called "far right" is
Wrong.

Canada didn‘t take a giant step to the right as expected. They still edged right comparing prior elections.

The AFD (headed by a lesbian BTW) policy wise is no more ‘Far Right‘ than MAGA. Even less so really.
