Pushing McDonalds coffee over Starbucks is laughable. Brewing coffee at home is much cheaper and better than either.

Smoking weed where it's legal should have the same restrictions as smoking nicotine (not inside public places, not near building entrances, exits, etc.). If you can't smoke weed where others can smell it then you shouldn't be able to chew tobacco where others can see you spit it either.

If I have to smell smoke, I prefer cigar, then weed with nicotine cigarettes a distant third.

No need for me to take a ride with my local PD, I had a meeting with my Chief of Police, Fire Chief, Mayor and other city representatives last night. I helped to get a levy passed last year to provide additional funding for police and fire.

DNC votes to redo vice chair elections of Hogg, Kenyatta

Oklahoma DNC member Kalyn Free, who ran for a vice chair position and lost, filed a challenge in late February over the way the vice chair election was conducted, alleging in her letter that it unfairly gave the male candidates an advantage over the female vice chair candidates.

The DNC Credentials Committee determined last month it would move forward with the challenge and put the matter to a vote for the entire committee to see whether a majority of members believed the vice chair election should be conducted again.

Now, the DNC will hold two separate virtual votes, one running between June 12 and June 14 for a male vice chair ballot and another running June 15 to June 17 for a vice chair ballot in which any gender candidate can run.

Free’s complaint over the February vice chair election is separate from a firestorm Hogg has ignited within the party over whether he should be involved in primarying members of the party while serving as a DNC officer….

……The specter of Zohran Mamdani, the apparent victor in the Democrat mayoral primary in New York City, still looms large for Democrats, with the New York contingent in particular being pressed on where they stand on the anti-American Democrat Socialist.

Democrats are said to be in full-blown panic mode over the pro-Hamas Mamdani, with some feeling they are in a no-win situation no matter where they fall on the issue of endorsing such a polarizing and divisive figure.

While all have talked about having to have "conversations" with Mamdani to gauge where he is on the Big Apple's Jewish community, they've fallen short of backing him as the meetings (presumably) get added to their schedules.

But as he has done many times before, Trump recently put the bait out there on Mamdani, with the likely intent to see if any of these holdout Democrats would take it…
