A pastors wife is the worst of the worst?

I think public opinion is starting to shift against the trump regime as more and more stories like this come to light.

Sure out of tens/hundreds of thousands of people you’ll continue to get the daily drip of stories like these where you’re getting only one side of the story with no rebuttal so you don’t know what positive things being claimed about the illegal is true or embellished, and what negative is being omitted.

Even going by the sympathetic story she:
-Entered illegally in 1998.
-Remained illegally.
-Worked illegally I presume.
-Was ordered deported in 2004 before receiving a TEMPORARY stay of deportation order.
Is she the worst of the worst?

I would guess that there are more deportees like her than there are felons.

One irony is that she and others like her are guilty of lesser crimes than our President. :coffee:

As Trump pledges mass deportation, he’s creating more undocumented people
If you’re looking for the definition of ‘self-fulling prophesy,’ look no further than Trump’s stream of policies that intentionally take legal status away from people so they go from being documented, to undocumented and then are fair game for being deported,” said Angela Kelley, an adviser at the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a former senior adviser on immigration for the Department of Homeland Security under the Biden administration.

“The Trump administration is creating a larger class of undocumented people by literally de-legalizing them and taking away their work authorization early,” Karen Tumlin, founder and director of Justice Action Center, said in a statement.

By “delegalizing” Flo and others, Trump has drastically hiked the number of people who could be deported through a sped-up process, while helping his administration meet its goal of ridding the country of 1 million immigrants a year.

“What happened to his promise of targeting criminals? He’s had to create larger numbers of targets and even then, the folks aren’t criminals, because they’re here legally,” Kelley said.

Less than 10% of immigrants taken into ICE custody since October had serious criminal convictions, internal data shows

More than 75% of people booked into ICE custody in fiscal year 2025 had no criminal conviction other than an immigration or traffic-related offense, according to ICE records from October through the end of May. And less than 10% were convicted of serious crimes like murder, assault, robbery or rape.

Public ICE data released by the administration shows that most immigrants currently in the agency’s custody do not have a prior criminal conviction. But the internal data reviewed by CNN goes deeper, making clear that even among those convicted of crimes, a substantial percentage faced only relatively minor charges.

The internal data covers the more than 185,000 immigrants who have been booked into ICE custody during the last months of the Biden administration and first months of the Trump administration, including those detained by ICE agents and those detained by Customs and Border Protection who were then placed in ICE custody.

The Democrats like yourself, have all gone bat shit crazy with dripping hysterical stage four TDS just because the president is Donald Trump

Do you notice that no Democrat has proposed any ideas? Even a bad idea of what Trump might want to consider with his deportation policy…. The more stupid and hysterical they act, Trump will continue to deport as many people as you can, but if they tried to work with Trump, I think they would be pleasantly surprised. They are just too freaking stupid.

I’m not shedding any tears over someone who
-Entered the US illegally as an adult in 1998.
-Was ordered deported in 2004.
-Has been able to avoid through ones means or another that until 2025.

These lib outlets/reporters are combing through tens of thousands of deportations (how many so far, 150-200k?), finding the most egregious sounding ones, and presenting their side of the story through their legal representation. We don’t know what is spun and embellished to make the illegal look like a poor victim, or what negative towards the illegal is omitted. We’re not getting a rebuttal from ICE because the reporter either doesn’t ask, or ICE fails to give.

Casting that net they’re getting 25% criminal convictions other than EWI, that’s pretty good. And how many of the other 75% include traffic offenses to include reckless and drunk driving, OR have orders of deportation?

I saw Holman on Fox yesterday mention the #s:
-600k with criminal convictions
-1.4 million additional with orders of deportation.

If they’re going after:
-Criminal convictions (600,000)
-Orders of deportation (1.4 million)
-Serious traffic offenses (a few hundred k?)
-Whoever else get’s scooped up going after the above 3

25% with criminal convictions is good. :thumb:

ICE detains Marine Corps veteran's wife who was still breastfeeding their 3-month-old
Even as Marine Corps recruiters promote enlistment as protection for families lacking legal status, directives for strict immigrant enforcement have cast away practices of deference previously afforded to military families, immigration law experts say. The federal agency tasked with helping military family members gain legal status now refers them for deportation, government memos show.

After they married in 2024, Paola Clouatre sought a green card to legally live and work in the U.S. Adrian Clouatre said he is "not a very political person" but believes his wife deserved to live legally in the U.S.

"I'm all for 'get the criminals out of the country,' right?" he said. "But the people that are here working hard, especially the ones married to Americans — I mean, that's always been a way to secure a green card."
She’s the “worst of the worst”?

Now comes the this is just anecdotal the majority are violent criminals lie deflection/defense.

You marry an illegal alien, guess what- they are still illegal. According to Google AI if you marry an illegal alien who entered the US illegally and remained in he the US illegally for more than 180 days, to apply for a green card they have return to their home country and apply at the U.S. embassy or consulate there. You don‘t like it change the Fed immigration laws.

So you‘re saying only the violent criminals (600k convicted criminals) can be deported and not any of the others (1.4 million with orders of deportation + any of the millions of others). Got it.

No, but even veterans and their family members have to follow the law.

And the woman in question at the time of the article was in custody awaiting her due process hearing. She hasn‘t been deported yet. With vet husband, USC kid(s) my guess is she won‘t be. And NBC won‘t do a follow up on how she wasn‘t deported.

Ice arrests of US military veterans and their relatives are on the rise: ‘a country that I fought for’
As the Chronicle reported, Thomas was born on a US army base in Germany to an American citizen father, who was originally born in Jamaica and is now dead. Thomas does not have US, German or Jamaican citizenship – but Trump’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) agency deported him anyway to Jamaica, a country in which he had never stepped foot.

The federal government argued that Thomas – who had previously received a deportation order – was not a citizen simply because he was born on a US army base, and it used prior criminal convictions to buttress the case against him. He petitioned for a review of the order, but the supreme court denied him, finding his father “did not meet the physical presence requirement of the [law] in force at the time of Thomas’s birth”.

From Jamaica, Thomas told the Chronicle: “If you’re in the US army, and the army deploys you somewhere, and you’ve gotta have your child over there – and your child makes a mistake after you pass away – and you put your life on the line for this country, are you going to be OK with them just kicking your child out of the country?”

He added, in reference to his father: “It was just Memorial Day [in late May]. Y’all are disrespecting his service and his legacy.”

Nothing says family values more than ripping a breastfeeding mother away from her baby.
