Do these shortsighted morons not understand that this will be used against them when there's a Democratic President?
One of these <700 Fed district judges should be able to issue a ruling/ injunction enforceable in their respective district. They shouldn’t be able to issue one that has enforceable nationwide, esp when they’ve been judge shopped. The below is clear evidence of judge shopping for nationwide injunctions issued by donk appointed judges.
As of January 2, 2025, of the 679 district court judges, 384 were appointed by Democratic presidents compared to 257 by Republican ones.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judicia ... ral_courts

So approx 57% of current (as of Jan) Fed district court judges are donk appointed, YET 92% of injunctions against Trump have come from donk appointed judges.
Like trump jumped to immediately facilitate the return of Abrego Garcia when ordered by SCOTUS?

Plenty of people would tell the government to pound sand if SCOTUS did that.

Sure if you believe lil mikey johnson. I don’t. Back it up with a reliable source.

Do you see the irony of a poster who complains about anonymous sources using lil mikey’s uncorroborated numbers?

So give us a study/source lil mikey used to come up with his numbers or I’ll continue to call bullshit because there are studies/sources out there with real data that contradict lil mikeys.

Nevertheless, as the table below indicates, in the nearly 40 cases RCI identified in which judges entered a universal injunction, Democratic presidents appointed more than four in five of those presiding:

83% does not equal 92%. Using BDKnitpicker logic you and lil mikey are wrong and all of your posts on the subject are invalid as a result. :D

How do trump’s numbers compare to universal injunctions against biden’s EOs (which tended to be filed in conservative strongholds like texas and louisiana)? I’m guessing you’ll find a similar disparity. Why is it only a big deal now?

The 92% was from a shorter time period.

Most of Biden’s that were overturned were overturn by conk appointed judges. But the sheer volume doesn‘t compare.
April 2024, the Harvard Law Review published an article with counts of nationwide injunctions through 2023. With respect to the four most recent presidential Administrations, the article identified 6 nationwide injunctions issued under the George W. Bush Administration, 12 under the Obama Administration, 64 under the first Trump Administration, and 14 from the first three years of the Biden Administration.
https://www.congress.gov/crs-product/R48467

By June, less than 5 months into his 2nd term, Trump had 40. Thats more than during 8 years Bush, 8 years Obama, and 1st 3 years Biden combined.

The sheer volume is because trump thought he was an imperial president and said FU to the US Constitution.
