So true but what do you expect when you follow a rejected 5 on her best day jaded harpy that writes the same song every time a guy dumps her.

What she on like 7 or 8 records? Maybe its not the guys? Look in the mirror 5

By the numbers:
At a news conference, officials said crews offloaded 61,740 pounds of cocaine and 14,400 pounds of bulk marijuana – valued at a total of $473 million

Unless it starts spreading at a high rate, or you’re an employer or front line workers, or you want to avoid getting grandma sick, or you don’t like to feel like shit, or you don’t mind risking long covid, or increasing the risk of long term cardiovascular disease or damage to organs.

Nope. Useless for the young and healthy. Children should never been mandated to get it.

You proved your willful ignorance in the post I was replying to. Are you still denial of community spread and infection rates? Or that it can likely cause long term health effects to any age group? And that vaccines have saved millions of lives ?

Are you in denial of the flu too? Since that’s what you used to compare it to?

Well, for the COVID vaccine and giving it to kids at least, even before the medical community got even more politicized it was still a very close decision whether to allow it for kids at all. Right in the heart of the pandemic, there was a lot of academic discussion over whether kids even needed it (i.e. the very low rate of kids even getting COVID along with the even lower rate of kids being impacted negatively long term from it) versus the known risk of impacts to the cardiovascular system for kids from the vaccine. I think when it finally did get approved for kids, it was a narrow vote then, and the tipping point was that they felt parents would demand it so they just went with it. But it was never a slam dunk that kids should get it.

And you are proving your willful ignorance about the fact that the Covid shot didn‘t stop people from:
-Getting the virus.
-Spreading the virus.
-Virus Posed virtually zero threat to the young & healthy while there was a cardiovascular risk to the shot.
Therefore was no reason for the young & healthy to take something who‘s risk outweighed any benefit.

Define “threat”. It had cause 30,000 deaths in those under 30. Is fine off from work because you’re sick retaking care of a sick child not constitute a threat. How about long covid? How about permanent damage to organs we’re still learning about?

The vax most certainly reduced the threat of not only getting the virus but of spreading it.

The cardio-v risk from infection is greater than the small risk posed by the vaccine.

Disagree, the evidence you have is from a CDC that is skewing the numbers for political reasons. More people died because of the vaccine. The same way a 70 year old guy with COPD and cancer for 4 years died of covid. Wrong but hey keep being lied to RFK Jr is gonna fix that

I'm not even using CDC numbers. By the end of June 2021, there were almost 3.7 million deaths worldwide attributed to COVID. Cumulative deaths by the end of that year were 5.2 million, so another 1.5 million. Vaccine uptake by then end of June 2021 was pretty significant, so if your contention that the vaccine was worse than the virus were true, how come 3.7 million died before there was a vaccine and 1.5 million died after it? You guys have this habit of taking a snippet of true information (i.e. the vaccine being approved for kids 18 and under was a close call by the regulatory panels and it was because of the increased risk of cardio-related issues versus relatively small risk of COVID for that age cohort) and then stretching it into just out and out falsehoods. As they say in basketball after a guy misses a free throw on a bad foul call, ball don't lie. :coffee:

What evidence do we have, because the trials did not measure prevention of death, they measured reduction in mild to moderate COVID. Outside that, it's all "correlation does not equal causation" studies because we don't have any RCTs to prove.

We lost the ability to measure lives saved versus died when both manufacturers decided to unblind the trial at 4 months by vaccinating the placebo arm and now we have no long term safety or death data.

Now, with that said, I do believe the vaccine saved quite a few of those above 70+, but we unfortunately cannot determine who was killed by the vaccine to make a good comparison. Hell, we can't even determine if a long term injury is from the vaccine, once again due to in unblinding. Wonderful job by Pfizer and Moderna!

All in all, I think the vaccine did save more lives, but we will never know how many killed people, or how many have been set on an early death path due to immunological dysregulation.

This is why choice is important. Under 65-70 and healthy, the risk vs reward starts to get sketchy and not worth it (personal opinion).
