I frankly have no problem with him winning and with him trying all of those things. I don't live in NYC so it wouldn't affect me one iota. If he gets any of it to work, or if it all fails, it's like we have a little laboratory/pilot plant to see it all play out. Rather we do it there than on the large-scale production equipment.

The fog of marijuana hanging throughout the city at all hours hasn't been helpful either. Remarkable how the smell of a place could change so drastically. They really should've just legalized edibles.

It's so bad that even all the way out in Queens players at the US Open, on the courts that back right up to perimeter of the property, have complained about the smell. Again, edibles would work just fine too.

I get what you're saying and agree. I support the legalization of marijuana but parents shouldn't have to worry about their kids breathing in the smoke or asking what that smell is. No one who doesn't want to should. Just like MAQA yahoos shouldn't be able to push Christianity on others, pot smokers shouldn't be able to force others to smell and inhale their smoke. There need to be limits just like there are on the public consumption of alcohol.

I I don’t like the smell at all, but nobody is pushing it on me. I just speed up my pace and out walk the smell

Well its legalized in most states but not legal to smoke in public in most states (yeah I know enforcement a whole diff issue).

And then you had New York and 1 or 2 other states where it is completely legal to smoke in public. You can’t walk down the street drinking a beer, but you can smoking a joint. That is the problem.

Nancy Mace went on profane tirade against officers and TSA agents, police report says

“She repeatedly stated we were ‘F‑‑‑ing incompetent,’ and ‘this is no way to treat a f‑‑‑ing U.S. Representative,’” the report read. “She also said we would never treat [Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.)] like this.”

She was allegedly “cursing and complaining,” as well as yelling into her phone, during the walk to the gate, police wrote. This continued while waiting at the gate for several minutes before she boarded her flight.

“After the aircraft departed the gate, the American Airlines Gate Agent approached us and stated he was in disbelief regarding her behavior,” according to the report. “He implied that a U.S. Representative should not be acting the way she was.”

The officer who wrote the report said they reviewed the video of the curb where she was expected to arrive and did not see a white BMW arrive at the expected time. A gray or silver BMW appeared at 6:51 a.m. at the atrium crosswalk, the officer wrote.

Additionally, a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) supervisor told officers that he was “very upset” about how Mace acted at the checkpoint, police wrote in the the report. The supervisor told them that Mace spoke with several TSA agents and they would file a report “about her unacceptable behavior” to their superiors.

“Any other person in the airport acting and talking the way she did, our department would have been [dispatched] and we would have addressed the behavior,” the report concludes.
