    Overall: 19-9

Best Performance: Idaho St. 38, (#6) UC Davis 36 - The Bengals surprise the Aggies mostly thanks to Dason Brooks’s 219 yards and 2 TDs on the ground, the first 200-yard rushing game for an ISU player in 8 years (per the isubengals website).

Worst Performance: Cal Poly 35, Portland St. 40 - The Mustangs allow 184 rushing yards and 3 TDs to Delon Thompson and 242 yards and 4 TDs total to a PSU team that was averaging just 84.9 rushing yards-per-game coming in.

Best Performance: (#17) Stephen F. Austin 41, Texas-Rio Grande Valley 17 - The Lumberjacks build a 27-0 halftime lead and never look back as they make the Vaqueros look like the newbies they are.

Worst Performance: Northwestern St. 3, McNeese St. 50 - The Demons still appear miles away from vague respectability as they allow 50 unanswered points to a 2-6 opponent.

Most Surprising Result: (#14) Lamar 17, Incarnate Word 24 - Cardinal QB Aiden McCown (Josh’s son) only throws 1 pass for some reason in a puzzling loss to the most disappointing team in FCS.

Worst Performance: (#5) South Dakota St. 12, Indiana St. 24 - What the fuck, South Dakota State!!!????? :suspicious:  :suspicious:  :suspicious:

Most Surprising Result: (#5) South Dakota St. 12, Indiana St. 24 - No, seriously… what the fuck, South Dakota State!? I know your starting QB is out, but still… losing to Indiana State in football is like losing to Larry Bird… in football. :? :? :? :? :?

    Overall: 13-11

Best Performance: (#25) Abilene Christian 31, (#2) Tarleton St. 28 - The Wildcats are only 5-4, but they’re 5-2 against FCS and 4 of their 5 victories would qualify as quality wins (SFA, Austin Peay, Tarleton, West Georgia by 3 scores).

Worst Performance: North Alabama 33, Utah Tech 34 (OT) - The Lions miss an extra point in overtime and end Utah Tech's 9-game losing streak in one-score games.

Most Surprising Result: (#22) Austin Peay 17, Southern Utah 33 - The Governors beat an FBS on the road by 20 points, but they’re 0-3 away from home against FCS opponents. :?

While I appreciate the recognition of Portland State's win, I would have said that the most surprising result in the Big Sky was the conference had a full slate of games (six) and the road team won each game. Home field does usually mean something, especially in conference games.

Only 1 home team has won the last 2 weeks combined (Idaho over PSU). :o

I would argue, however, that home-field advantage is more important out of conference (unfamiliar locales, often longer travel time, etc.).

Portland St was one of the schools that used to experiment with the Run-N-Shoot in the '80s-'90s.
