Careful! You’re gonna upset CH with this one.
CH is fine!

Scott Bessent has it been on a nine month roll with his interviews, he’s not letting the media get away with their bullshit and I like it!

Whatever he said about the cattle and the online frenzy about it just shows how good he has been …

Hopefully, some of you jesters will check some of his interviews out now… you could use some good schooling

What he said about cattle was moronic. He earned all of the ridicule he's getting for it.

Trump has ‘blurred’ line between military and politics, ex-officers warn
“The use of troops, bases, and ceremonies in partisan settings has blurred the line between military service and political messaging, eroding morale and public trust in the military’s apolitical character,” the report reads.

The report, The Perils of Politicizing the US Military, was authored by six former service secretaries and retired four-star admirals and generals, including former army secretary Louis Caldera, former air force secretary Deborah Lee James, former navy secretary Sean O’Keefe, retired navy admiral Steve Abbot, retired coast guard admiral Thad Allen, and retired army general George Casey.
...
Monday’s report warns about the consequences of such efforts, most acutely the “erosion of the armed forces’ apolitical character”.

“When service members, senior leaders, or military symbols are perceived as aligned with political agendas, the public begins to see the institution as partisan rather than national – and once eroded, that trust is difficult to rebuild,” reads the report. “This loss of trust makes it harder to recruit across the political spectrum, harder to retain talent, and harder to reassure allies and deter adversaries abroad.”
...
The report by former military leaders outlines similar recommendations to Congress, calling on lawmakers to require “clear justification and post-action review of significant domestic deployments and high-level personnel changes”.

Look…I’m sure Bessent is an intelligent man on some level but it’s been painful from the start watching him try to bullshit his way through interviews explaining Trump’s tariffs and other stupid policies and grift.

This one is just icing on the cake.

Jobs report blows past expectations, defying hiring slowdown
The fresh data arrives about six weeks after its initially scheduled release.

Employers hired far more workers than expected in September, defying a sharp slowdown over the summer that appeared to cool off the labor market.

The U.S. added 119,000 jobs in September, according to data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. That figure marked an acceleration from the previous month, and it exceeded an average of nearly 100,000 jobs added per month over the first half of 2025.…

Why?
Because Trump was joking

President Donald Trump on Wednesday suggested he would fire Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent if the Federal Reserve doesn’t decrease interest rates.

“The only thing Scott is blowing it on is the Fed because the Fed, the rates are too high, Scott. If you don’t get it fixed fast, I’m going to fire your ass,” the president said, smirking, during a speech at a US-Saudi investment forum at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.

Yes. That’s exactly what he and Elon claimed when they started DOGE. And they had you guys defending it.

Link to where FY25’ spending was higher than projected before Trump took office? And newsflash, FY 25 started almost 4 months BEFORE Trump took office and the FY25 spending was set by the Biden admin. And lol if there were no spending cuts as this guy claims, then it couldn’t have killed hundreds of thousands and eventually millions.

Top MAGA Influencers Accidentally Unmasked as Foreign Trolls
Dozens of major accounts masquerading as “America First” or “MAGA” proponents have been identified as originating in places such as Russia, India, and Nigeria.

In one example, the account MAGANationX—with nearly 400,000 followers and a bio reading “Patriot Voice for We The People”—is actually based in Eastern Europe.
Are we sure that SG lives in Seattle?
