Media wars and controlling the messaging
CBS, now under right wing ownership hired well spoken political hack Bari Weiss as editor in chief. Yes let’s 0rivide more reasonable voices like Alan Dershowitz.

Re: Media wars and controlling the messaging
I listened to the whole link you provided. What was controversial about what she said? What makes her more of a hack than anyone else in media right now? Isn't the gripe from the right about most of non-Fox mass media is that they only talk from or to one side of the spectrum? I mean, she got booted from the NYT because she didn't toe the line on what was acceptable to talk about at the time at the NYT. She may or may not be the right person to address this, but surely even you can see that a good portion of this country does feel ignored or talked spitefully about by a much too large segment of mainstream media. And as we've seen in elections, it's about half this country. A little more in some years, a little less in others. It's certainly an issue to them.

I didn’t say she was more of a hack. In fact, she’s very polished with her delivery but it belies her personal biases. She was chosen for a reason.GannonFan wrote: ↑Tue Nov 25, 2025 11:23 am I listened to the whole link you provided. What was controversial about what she said? That said, network TV is still struggling so the impact is less of a threat.

Oh…and I forgot. Bari Weiss wants to elevate Alan Fucking Dershowitz as a media voice and has had him on her podcast.
Here’s a good example of who she’s vouching for.
