So the way it is playing out for Montana is they will need to beat SDSU, USD, MSU (away) and NDSU to win the championship. In addition, they have played UND. They are able to win it all, it would be the most deserving team in the history of football.

Ha! I still don't know how ISU had 5 turnovers and still won. Highlights ought to be incredible.

The CAA and SoCon are now the 4th and 5th best conferences.

At least until Rhody knocks off Davis tonight.

Payton sat in the pocket and the offence did nothing after the first possession. The defense was on the field 42+ minutes. 5 first downs the first 59 minutes.2 lost fumbles. Hayes finished the game on the last drive. I don't know if Payton was hurt or ISU was that great. Worst offensive game in 20 years.

I'm happy the Griz won but I am definitely disappointed in how small the crowd was. The whole south end zone was basically empty.

Be careful, I made a similar comment about Montana’s attendance a while back and got lectured by Kalm

Which reminds me, I need to update the thread

Not talking crap here, nor trying to rub it in, but that was your first bad game in YEARS. I think we all know NDSU will be on a mission next year.

An AI search has :

MSU at 20,800
Tarleton at 19,700
Montana at 18,000
NDSU at 10,000

Then it drops off way off.

Not that I trust AI.

Weather forecast definitely cut into the crowd. Not so much the game time forecast, it was more to do with the drive. For Friday they were saying to expect snow in and around Missoula (3" or 4" inches), then 6" to 8" of snow possible around Bozo. So as someone sitting in Billings I found ESPN to be the easier alternative than facing 5 to 6 hours (one way) of lousy roads. :twocents:

The first 2 hours of my drive to Fargo were on bad roads with Minneapolis area traffic. 4 hour drive took 5 hours. At least a dozen accidents and backups. Lucky they were all going the opposite way.

Fly on the wall inside North Dakota State athletic Director Mark Elingsons ….

He’s humming a little song

If we ever get out of here

I would give all 10 trophies away

For the sake of FCS parity

All I need is an invite today

If we ever get out of here…..
Bison fans even forgot we were here

I read the news today old boy

4,000 empty seats in Bisonville

And though the seats were rather large

They had to count to count them all

Now they know how many butts it takes to fill the Fargo Dome…

Adam Jones scores to probably put it away. Julius Davis actually had a long TD run earlier, but a taunting penalty before he went in the endzone put the ball back to about the 20.

41-21 Bobcats, early-4Q
