OK, Melania should restrict Trump’s Twitter between Mid night and 5am, but the new lows and era of stupidity, scandals and political hatchet jobs were set during the Joe Biden administration, actually even before that when Joey Rotten was VP
But yea, Trumps twitter not always helping him

Why shouldn’t trump be held to the same if not a higher standard?
Why is it wrong (feelings hurt) to expect our President to show some class and respect for the dead?

Re: Culture Wars
Typical liberal white woman.
https://redstate.com/rusty-weiss/2025/1 ... d-n2197268Leftist Shrew Melts Down on Elderly Target Worker Over Charlie Kirk Shirt – Her Response Is Pure Gold
An elderly Target employee in California, Jeanie Beeman, was verbally abused by a customer for wearing a Charlie Kirk "Freedom" t-shirt while on duty. The video prompted a viral backlash against the abuser. Now, Beeman's response would almost assuredly make Charlie smile.
To be clear, the customer brought the backlash upon herself here, launching a profane verbal attack on the woman for wearing the t-shirt while restocking racks at her store.
The unhinged woman asks Beeman if she is "f**king stupid" and accuses her of supporting “a racist.”
"They let you wear that shirt here?" she asks. "Why the f**k would you wear that, you're at work at Target?"
So pleased with herself was she that the abuser actually was the one who posted the video to TikTok.
Incredibly, the leftist Karen must have been the only person on the planet to have witnessed that exchange and felt she was the one who came out looking good. Why else would you post that to your own social media account?
Instead, the move backfired. Big time.
A vast majority of people saw an elderly Target employee handling an uptight heckler with grace and poise. They also saw (or at least heard) a woman who is obviously off her rocker. As evidenced by the medical center where she works having to hold a press conference begging people to stop calling and suggesting she be fired.
Mike Wiltermood, president and CEO of California-based Enloe Health, says they have received thousands of "profanity-laced" calls from people seeking to voice their opinion on their employee. He felt the need to go public, stating their system was being overwhelmed with calls that have “impeded our ability to serve patients and their families.”
Wiltermood actually praised Beeman's handling of the situation and knocked his own employee's "off-hours" behavior.
“As a human being, I’m sorry she went through that, and I admire her resilience,” he said. "This isn’t about politics. This is about how we treat each other, and decorum.”
Speaking of treating people with kindness, Beeman's response to whether or not she'd personally like to see the woman fired is all class.
“I don’t think that that’s right,” Beeman said. “Two wrongs don’t make a right, you know, she wronged me, but I don’t want to wrong her, or I don’t want her — her wronged, because it’s not going to make it right.”
Meanwhile, a GiveSendGo fundraiser has raised over $225,000 for Beeman. With that, she can buy as many red Charlie Kirk shirts as she'd like.
The unhinged woman has since expressed remorse for her actions, likely triggered by the fact that her job is now at stake.
"I want to take full responsibility for my actions and say clearly and sincerely that I was wrong. I behaved badly, and I regret it deeply,” she told Action News Now.

Trump's push to end transgender care for young people opposed by pediatricians
You can count on them to be consistently inconsistent/hypocritical.

MAQA supports science and experts as long as it and/or they agree with their ideological agenda but it/they are woke and wrong if they don’t.Dr. Kade Goepferd watched the Trump administration's moves on Thursday to ban gender-affirming care for transgender youth with "a mix of sadness and frustration."
Goepferd, who is the founder of Children's Minnesota Gender Health Program, says that for the medical community, nothing has changed about the evidence supporting gender-affirming care that could justify the government's actions.
"There's a massive propaganda and disinformation campaign that is selectively targeting this small population of already vulnerable kids and their families," Goepferd says.
…
The American Academy of Pediatrics, the medical group that represents 67,000 pediatricians across the country, pushed back forcefully on those characterizations.
"These policies and proposals misconstrue the current medical consensus and fail to reflect the realities of pediatric care and the needs of children and families," said AAP President Dr. Susan J. Kressly in a statement. "These rules help no one, do nothing to address health care costs, and unfairly stigmatize a population of young people."
AAP's official position on this medical care is that it is safe and effective for the young people who need it. That view is shared by the American Medical Association, the Endocrine Society, among other medical organizations.
In a statement Thursday, the American Psychological Association wrote: "APA is deeply concerned about recent federal actions that not only challenge the scientific understanding of gender identity but also potentially jeopardize the human rights, psychological health, and well-being of transgender and nonbinary individuals."

People Who Finally Left "MAGA Christianity" Are Sharing What It Really Took To Step Away
Many people of faith and the non-religious alike note that what’s often called “MAGA Christianity” isn’t simply a political stance; it represents a distinct moral framework — one that elevates obedience to authority and nationalism over the traditional Christian values of love, service and community.
Critics say this shift subordinates Jesus’ teachings about caring for the poor, welcoming strangers, and standing with the marginalized to a political-tribal agenda.
...
Levings, author of the New York Times bestseller A Well-Trained Wife: My Escape From Christian Patriarchy, describes MAGA Christianity as the overlap between authoritarian Christianity and Christian nationalism.
“Right now that’s close to a perfect circle,” she tells HuffPost.
Levings calls it a malformation of the word “Christianity,” since Jesus was neither nationalist nor authoritarian. According to Levings, this distortion has persisted because many modern churches have done little to protect their congregations from nationalist influence, and because authoritarian parenting has shaped family life for over 50 years. The result, she explains, is that the meaning of being a Christian in America has fundamentally changed.
Levings argues that MAGA Christianity is “faith-based and built around a narrow evangelical worldview.” She points to trauma bonding within churches, unaccountable pastors who accelerated the nationalist turn, generations raised without robust critical thinking skills, and a steady stream of misinformation that reinforces groupthink.
Reflecting on why many Americans remain tied to these communities, Rollins said the pull is both ideological and emotional: “Some people identify as MAGA because they have been taught that hyper-individualism, nationalism and white supremacy are the same as Christianity — and I think this is tragic. But I also think that many people identify as MAGA because they do not feel compelled by the alternative.”

Well, it was the result of having multiple pastors tell me essentially the same story about quoting the Sermon on the Mount parenthetically in their preaching - turn the other cheek - to have someone come up after and to say, where did you get those liberal talking points? And what was alarming to me is that in most of these scenarios, when the pastor would say, I'm literally quoting Jesus Christ, the response would not be, I apologize. The response would be, yes, but that doesn't work anymore. That's weak. And when we get to the point where the teachings of Jesus himself are seen as subversive to us, then we're in a crisis.
