Wow, I didn’t even know DeSantis was trolling. He’s truly a master!

No he’s not

You have poor instincts

And

you have TDS which affects your ability to think clearly and with reason?

It all comes back to the weed.

Had to go back a couple of months to try and get me, eh? That suggests stage 4 TDS. Probably a good idea to go see your specialist. Maybe blood work and an MRI is needed?

Speaking of weed. My son found me an edible that doesn’t weigh me down too much. It’s super chill and helps with my chronic pain.

They’re gummies. Not much chewing involved.

I take a third of a 10mg gummy. Mrs. Kalm would tell you I’m a lightweight. It helps.

But I also employ yoga and therapeutic massage add receive a radio frequency ablation procedure every 6 months on both sides of cervical 4, 5, and 6 which are all herniated.

I can’t take pain relievers except for things like recovering from surgery. NSAID’s can cause further hepatic injury.

I don’t wish Pain on my worst enemies, and that includes you! :D

So I will allow you to indulge in the gum dum weed if you really think that is helping you

Trump In-Law Calls for Mandatory Military Service to Teach Americans ‘Appreciation’
President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, made the pitch for mandatory military service for all Americans—even though no one in the Trump family has ever served.

The 43-year-old whore of Eric Trump said Tuesday on Fox & Friends that mandatory service would make people more appreciative of those who serve. She compared a hypothetical one-year compulsory service in the U.S. to that of Israel’s mandatory service.
Good idea! The trump family should lead by example. don jr., ivana & jared, eric & lara, and barron should enlist immediately.

Maybe don sr's bone spurs have healed and he can enlist as well.

To quote Just Dance vance: "You're not there to pop off about politics, so when Olympic athletes enter the political arena, they should expect some pushback."

Or does that only apply when MAQA disagrees with their message?

Someone can express their opinions with words, clothing choices, etc. They were making a political statement with their MAQA hats = popping off.

Politics happened to the hockey players long before they donned (heh, unintentional pun!) MAGA hats. I don't think anyone knew any of their political leanings until then, and that was several days after they won the gold. Politics happened to them the moment Patel came into the locker room and the moment Trump called the locker room. All through the Olympics I don't recall the hockey players stepping into anything that was political. I could be wrong of course, I was focused more on the curling. That rocked! :D

Updating this - the White House now using AI doctored video to put words into the mouths of USA hockey players who didn't say those words and didn't wear the MAGA hats is also clearly beyond the pale. The end of these stupid times can't come soon enough.

This started before Keystone kash made an a$$ out of himself in Italy - members of the US men's team started to show their political leanings during and after the 4 Nations Face-Off.

But my post wasn't so much critical of the Tkachuk brothers or anyone other player. They're entitled to their opinions and have a right to express them. My post was about the hypocrisy of Just Dance vance and other MAQA yahoos thinking athletes who disagreed with them politicly shouldn't be "popping off about politics" while saying nothing about athletes who agree with them.

Well, in everyone's defense, the 4 Nations Face-Off was like world cups that came before it - hyper nationalized, real hatred, fans booing other countries national anthems, etc. I remember going to a world cup back in the '90's, well before any of these stupid times, and it was still crazy nationalized back then. The Olympics, at least, seem to be a tamer affair. That's why, even in the lead up to this one, it didn't seem very political at all. Only after the game was over, the guy's one, not the women's a few days before, did it get political.

Doesn't change vance's hypocrisy.

It is the duty of the President and Vice President to lead the entire nation, not just the people who voted for and/or support them.

Is it too much to ask politicians to actually lead?

Not saying it does. Vance, Trump, and the rest of them are leaders of the stupid times and the hyper-politicized times we live in. Like I said, I'm looking forward to midterms this year and then the Presidential election in '28 to hopefully close the book on these crazy times. Not sure I'll get my wish, the Dems don't look like they're offering anything different in terms of stupid, but I'm still hoping.

You and I are on the same page.

I do think trump is both a symptom and a major instigator of the stupid times and I'm not going to let him or MAQA off the hook for their significant contributions to hypocrisy and stupidity.
