‘A growing cancer’: The right’s growing acknowledgment of its own antisemitism
“I am telling you this is real, it is organic, these are real human beings, and it is spreading,” he said.

Plenty of other conservative influencers have made similar arguments over the past week, in some cases explicitly rejecting calls like Vance’s to stay focused on the left, even if they didn’t specifically call out the vice president.
  • Author James Lindsay called the young Republican group chat exposed by Politico “the tip of a very nasty iceberg.”
  • GOP strategist David Reaboi said that “most of the Right’s loudest voices have no problem at all with Nazis.”
  • Filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza on Wednesday cited hateful anti-Indian messages he was receiving, saying, “The Right never used to talk like this. So who on our side has legitimized this type of vile degradation?”
  • Seth Dillon, the CEO of the conservative satire website the Babylon Bee, said the right should be “treating our cancer and killing it before it kills us.”
Daily Wire editor-in-chief Ben Shapiro appeared with an advocate of Vance’s approach and warned that the right was “sort of whistling past the graveyard.”

Shapiro, who is Jewish, said threats he’s received from the right have become “more common.”

“If somebody tries to kill me, it’s a fricking Agatha Christie novel,” Shapiro said. “I just don’t know which direction the bullet is coming from at this point, given the sort of various and sundry radical extremes that exist.”

Those fears about extremism leading to violence became more real this week. The state of Florida arrested a man for allegedly threatening to kill Dillon and other Jewish conservatives. Dillon and others who were allegedly targeted by the man linked the threats to a baseless conspiracy theory promoted by far-right influencers that Israel was behind Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
...
Yes, Democrats have their problems here, including Jones’ texts and the recent controversy over popular Maine Democratic Senate candidate Graham Platner having a tattoo that resembled Nazi imagery. (Platner has said he didn’t understand the image was tied to Nazism.)

‘Entering Dangerous Territory’: WSJ Drags Nick Fuentes, Tucker Carlson, and Heritage Foundation in Scathing Op-Ed
“Mr. Fuentes has free speech and uses it to fantasize about killing and deporting Jews. Is it now “cancel culture” to criticize Mr. Carlson for treating Mr. Fuentes like a political truth-teller and feeding him softball questions?” wrote the board. “This is a parody of what ‘cancel culture’ meant when the campus left shouted down conservative judges and scholars. Mr. [Ted] Cruz nailed the point when he said Friday that ‘if you say nothing when someone tells you that Adolf Hitler was cool, you are a coward and complicit in evil.'”

The board dragged Roberts as an “apologist” who went against the core principles of conservatism.

David Kozak, a former professor of anthropology at Fort Lewis College, was caught on camera Nov. 7 yelling in reaction to the Associated Students of Fort Lewis College (ASFLC) voting to approve the TPUSA chapter in an emergency meeting. Their decision came after previously rejecting senior Jonah Flynn’s proposal to register the group with the university, which had sparked controversy across campus.

Yep. And it was apparenrly 72 prior arrests, not 49.

If she survives (last I saw was in critical condition) she’ll be horribly disfigured for life And the sad irony is as a white female in Chicago, she probably voted for the policies that allow this by voting Democrat.

’It’s not a coincidence’: journalists of color on being https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/dec/14/journalists-of-color-layoffs laid off amid Trump’s anti-DEI push

But when Sherman left the conference room and entered the newsroom, he said he learned that his white colleagues had been told a very different story. A white co-worker told Sherman that she found it “messed up” that the people of color on the team had been laid off. Of the nine producers who staffed CBS Evening News Plus, five white people were reassigned to other positions, while the four people of color on the team were let go, according to Sherman and another former staffer who spoke on the condition of anonymity out of fear of retaliation. Later that day, Sherman documented his experience in a viral TikTok video. CBS did not respond to the Guardian’s multiple requests for comment.

In July filings to the FCC before the merger, Skydance promised that it would eliminate Paramount’s DEI initiatives and workforce diversity targets. And in October, Bari Weiss, an opinion journalist who advocated to “end DEI for good”, was appointed the editor in chief of CBS News. Some CBS News employees have been on edge since Weiss’s appointment.

In a political climate that’s hostile to diversity, people of color must start their own media outlets and podcasts, said political commentator and National Association of Black Journalists board member Roland Martin: “These companies are going to learn a hard lesson: if you continue to remove Black, Latino, Muslim and Asian American voices, those consumers are going to go elsewhere.”

In light of the mass layoffs, some Black creatives have begun gathering online to form a collective in their vision. In early November, Aniyah Freeman, a digital marketer based in New York, put a callout on LinkedIn to start a media company with recently laid-off Black journalists. So far, she said, about 200 people have joined a group chat; a core group of 15 recently laid-off Black media professionals from various companies including ABC, Rolling Stone and Condé Nast have met on Zoom several times.

For now, their media company is called Black Media Caucus, and they are working on business plans for a magazine focused on politics, fashion and culture. “It’s going to be giving us perspectives that they’re trying to take away from us,” Freeman said. “We need Black-owned-and-run establishments that are going to stay that way. This current political climate is an inspiration for all of us.”

A 65-year-old woman was stabbed to death by a mentally ill homeless man as she shopped for Christmas gifts in a Florida Barnes & Noble, according to officials.

Rita Loncharich was reading a magazine at the bookstore in Palm Beach Gardens when she was stabbed in the back without warning by Antonio Moore, 40, who came to Florida just days earlier, according to an affidavit that said he confessed.

“He stabbed me!” the married shopper cried in an obvious state of shock, according to the court docs…

U.S. removal of panels honoring Black soldiers at WWII cemetery in the Netherlands draws backlash
One display told the story of 23-year-old George H. Pruitt, a Black soldier buried at the cemetery, who died attempting to rescue a comrade from drowning in 1945. The other described the U.S. policy of racial segregation in place during World War II.

Some 1 million Black soldiers enlisted in the U.S. military during the war, serving in separate units, mostly doing menial tasks but also fighting in some combat missions. An all-Black unit dug the thousands of graves in Margraten during the brutal 1944-45 season of famine in the German-occupied Netherlands known as the Hunger Winter.
..
When Black soldiers came to Europe in World War II, “what they found was people who accepted them, who welcomed them, who treated them as the heroes that they were. And that includes the Netherlands,” said Linda Hervieux, whose book “Forgotten” chronicles Black soldiers who fought on D-Day and the segregation they faced back home.

The removal of the panels, she said, “follows a historical pattern of writing out the stories of men and women of color in the United States.”

Panels honoring just one race of US soldiers is racist. How about panels honoring US soldiers of all races.

So any panels that only included white U.S. soldiers should also have been removed from there or any other military location.

Would you like to make a bet that that didn't happen?

No.
Did the panels honoring black soldiers not state they were honoring black soldiers?

The panels honoring white soldiers don't state they were honoring white soldiers.

In other words, only one set of panels specifically states they are singling out a race. BIG difference.

Lawl it’s not nitpicking. Doing panels for only one race and specifically stating such in the panels is racist.

Lol sounds you’re the one who was triggered and frightened by the racist panels being removed, as you‘re the one who brought it up and are crying about it.. Sounds like you need a pacifier and blankie.

Nick Shirley copy cat interviews random people in Manhatten

He asked them if they had heard Trump was banning Somali nationals from entering the US

About 9 New Yorkers said they had and thought that was really bad

When asked if they would like to take one into their house everyone of them had an excuse on why they would not be able to….. typical

Until one lady said… I think it’s good… too many immigrants today are not even trying to carry that weight… only want to rip us off …. She’s not wrong
