Wrong
There was a lot national debt talk back in the 80s, Newt worked with Slick Willie and they balanced the budget in the
90’s.
So at this point, everyone forgot or willfully ignored balanced budgets. That is acceptable to a point, but our politicians need to be re-elected so the debt took off again and now it’s an economic monster built on the foundation of a spoiled rotten society
Nice on paper but we’ve been trying it for almost 50 years with an ever increasing debt and wealth gap despite increased worker productivity. It’s inarguable as a failure.

I didn’t do any of that, and all those young people today that say, we don’t have the same opportunities that the boomers did are not being honest with themselves. They have the same opportunities that I did.
They just don’t wanna make all the sacrifices that is required

I was using the term “nuclear option” as something that would be available to any healthy young person, but that your thought of it today is radioactive to a young person

Yep. I hear it from my brother who is a school teacher. Kids now a days are lazy as F compared to when we were growing up. Last 20 years gotten fat, lazy, and spend most of the day looking at a screen.
