It’s a political statement as 65% of Americans own homes
Who would they sell those homes to?
The people that did more work and less complaining…

Simple

I just watched a clip where Trump said almost the exact same thing.

I guess this is believable when you worship hack economists like Thomas Sowell.

It’s totally believable because it’s a fact !

Anyone can do it if they set their mind to it at a young age

doesn’t have anything to do with the genius of Thomas Sowell.

Ummm…you DO realize that we are already pricing hard working people out of the home market? That not everyone can or will work themselves to death, ignoring parenting responsibilities, retirement savings, healthcare, etc to afford an over-priced home? So what happens to demand when a product is over-priced? Do you think this will go well for builders, mortgage lenders, realtors, and developers? This is simply wealth preservation at the expense of the middle class.

Trump…real estate market genius! :ohno:

Hard-working people have a tendency to buy expensive toys… status is important to so many. I know people that look higher upon themselves leaving the house driving a shiny new car in fashionable clothes that they had to borrow money for, vice the slob working out in the yard that has $4 million “in the bank”

That slob could buy another house if he wanted to while fashion and glam family can only afford fashion and glam and can’t even pay the full balance on their credit card every month. They will be the first to complain they can’t afford a house. It would take sacrifice but we’re to spoiled and entitled for that

Is real estate generally overpriced right now? I think it is but the market will eventually take care of it

Thinking childcare is some inherent right that the government is supposed to pay for is bullshit. A tight family network could figure it out. Working from home means so many other things than just working from home to.

Healthcare? I know when I say nuclear option, your brain automatically flips to politics, but that’s not what I mean. There is one solution that a young person could make that would take care of that problem, but Daddies basement is so warm and comfortable

Judge much? The sad part is you are correct in certain round about ways but it’s all washed away by the anger and finger pointing in your post.

Not to mention, those people who own and invest in companies rely upon the middle class to buy their products. Personal debt bd damned. Our system is built on this.

And why don’t you just re-explain your nuclear option regarding healthcare instead of whining? I vaguely remember something about it but it didn’t stick.
