I’ve never really listened but the whining from MAGA and your over-the-top and ignorant criticisms are delicious. The SB performance was widely lovex and the bits I saw regarding messaging were super positive.

I’m a classic rock/alt/punk/bluegrass/old school country guy.
The Kinks, Beatles, Pink Floyd to John Prine, the Clash, REM, the Cure, Love and Rockets, Social Distortion, to Nirvana, Screaming Trees, to Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys, and Geese.

To name a few.
I will ignore your butt hurt first Paragraph because The Bunny went down the Rabbit Hole… yahoo reviews I read were like meh

your second paragraph is on the mark for the most part, although I never heard of several of those like screaming trees and Arctic Monkeys and a few more
Nothing wrong with the SB halftime show - it was very well put on, great work with the sets and the production. The music for me was fine but I'm also not the target audience anymore. There have been better shows and there have been worse.

The target audience is younger and international viewers. The NFL is trying to grow the game which is a smart business strategy.

It came across as more Broadway with the elaborate sets, which, as I like Broadway, was perfectly good for me. For a second there at the end it sounded like they were going to go to "Despacito" and maybe have Fonsi and Daddy Yankee pop up - now that would've been awesome.

Bad Bunny should’ve split the show up with his Latino heritage Puerto Rico heritage, and then something that united the country. He had a big opportunity and he blew it.

To the MAGA crowd he was never going to be good enough. He did fine, and the message on the football at the end was a good unifier. We're in an age where neither side will ever appreciate or acknowledge the other side, hence the divergent views.

And Bad Bunny is right in line with that

He had an opportunity to be unique in front of a divided country and he blew it

Someone pointed out that he had a sign that said “we accept EBT” funny

Had a lot of nuance in that skit from what I’m told that you would only recognize if you lived in Puerto Rico for 20 years….

If he would’ve let me manage that production, he would’ve been a hero, i’m just fine with him emphasizing his Puerto Rican Heritage, but I would’ve been able to blend some USA things in there to balance it out… he would’ve been a lot more popular today

Why does Bad Bunny need to "be unique in front of a divided country"? Why don't you hold our current POTUS to the same standard? He's had a thousand such opportunities that he's blown.

Bad Bunny did a better job of trying to heal a divided country than trump has since he was reelected.

Bad Bunny is a performer not an elected leader. trump is POTUS, he (should) represents every American regardless of whether they voted for him.

Bad Bunny might have missed an opportunity, trump has missed thousands of opportunities.

Bad Bunny did reach out:
  • “The Only Thing More Powerful Than Hate Is Love” message
  • Dancers carried flags from across the Americas.
  • He held a football that read “Together, We Are America,” blending a symbol of American sports with a message of inclusivity.
  • He said “God bless America” and then listed countries from across the Americas, an inclusive take on the concept of “America” that resonated with many as a bridge between different cultural experiences.
  • The show’s stage design — featuring scenes of everyday life (food vendors, family moments, and a wedding during the performance) — functioned as a universal celebration of community and family, a narrative many people can relate to regardless of background.
If those messages didn't resonate with MAQA it says more about them than it does about Bad Bunny.

trump and MAQA need Latino voters going into the 2026 and 2028 elections. Alienating them is strategically foolish.

Except Thelma's numbers aren't bullshit like yours are ...

Super Bowl LX's Bad Bunny hits 130 M+ viewers, beats TPUSA’s Kid Rock concert with 6M+ streams

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Tops Kendrick Lamar’s
Fortunately for Bad Bunny, his efforts in curating an audio-visual masterclass for his fans worked out. According to NBC, this year’s halftime show drew 135.4 million viewers, making it the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show of all time.
Why is the fvck your feelings crowd so triggered by Bad Bunny. Is fvck your feelings only allowed if MAQA is doing the fvcking? Are they really that sensitive and insecure?
