There has been no slinking. Klam was supposed to give me his top investigative journalists. I noted that not a single one them has a degree in journalism. That was it. Hadn't even had a chance to see their body if work.

Now he's trying to use Bob Woodward as a litmus test. You know, Klam criticizing investigative journalists because they didn't have a degree, now he's switching his criteria.

Indeed. Which is why I turn to Zateo, the Majority Report, Professor Scott Galloway, Drop Site, etc, etc.

I thought trump was a master closer. The world is anxiously awaiting his sealing this deal and bringing peace and prosperity to the world.

Well, nobody can deny he has given the people of Iran a tremendous opportunity to rid themselves of this oppressive regime once and for all

Too many Americans seem to be obsessed in their hatred of Trump to be able to see that part of it

Just like too many MAQA yahoos are obsessed with their utter devotion to trump to be able to see the contradictory statements, apparent lack of a cohesive plan, the approximately 1,500 dead civilians and more?

Too many Americans think a war is gonna go like clockwork….

Once had a superior they got orders to planning. He was pretty down on himself and I asked him what was wrong ….. he said … they don’t send rock stars to planning. Basically, he was saying without saying it that that his career was over.

In hindsight, it might turn out to be a mistake or history could look at it as a bold move that changed the world. And pretty much all of us will be history by the time that is really known.

Oh Lord, don't get me started. I like Trump for the fact he's not establishment, but have never been able to listen to him for more than 15 seconds. I believe he always talks like a CEO in that America is doing great and awesome, but his war claims are hilariously bad.

So who has been advising Trump and past Presidents?

I still don't understand how America got caught with its pants down in regard to drones. We are way behind in drone technology, so that begs to which advisors didn't see this coming.

trump talks like trump not CEOs.

For the most part, adults advised past Presidents.

trump chose his advisors based on loyalty over competency, knowledge and experience (which makes the whole MAQA push against DEI so laughably hypocritical) so he's getting advice from buffoons with limited leadership experience like Whiskeyleaks.

Army survivors of deadly attack in Kuwait dispute Pentagon's account
The members CBS News spoke to disputed the description of events from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who described the drone as a "squirter" — in that it squirted through the defenses of a fortified unit inside Kuwait.

"Painting a picture that 'one squeaked through' is a falsehood," one of the injured soldiers told CBS News. "I want people to know the unit … was unprepared to provide any defense for itself. It was not a fortified position."

That service member, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity because of rigid media restrictions within the military, said that in spite of the carnage that ensued, those inside the charred and splintered compound responded with swiftness, ingenuity and valor that saved lives.
...
"We moved closer to Iran, to a deeply unsafe area that was a known target," the soldier said. "I don't think there was a good reason ever articulated."

He said they were protected by little more than a thin layer of vertical standing blast barricades that did not provide cover from above.

"From a bunker standpoint, that's about as weak as one gets," he said.

Asked to describe the degree of fortification, he responded: "I mean, I would put it in the none category. From a drone defense capability … none."
Anonymous sources - blah, blah, blah. Maybe if people didn't have a legitimate fear of vindictive retribution they wouldn't need to be anonymous.

Trump started a war Gulf states didn’t want. How he’s ending it has worried them more
Gulf states did not want Donald Trump to go to war with Iran. Now they are deeply anxious that he has stopped.

Far from heralding a new “golden age” in the Middle East, as the US president has claimed, a premature, muddled ceasefire has left an undefeated Iran in control of the economically critical Strait of Hormuz, officials and business leaders have warned.

By failing to finish what he started, they say, Mr Trump risks making the Gulf more dangerous and unpredictable, alienating investors and undermining stability. Gulf states feel both more exposed and more dependent on a United States they fear is abandoning them to deal with a crisis not of their own making.

“It was a mistake to start this war,” said one politically connected businessman in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), reflecting a widely shared sentiment. “It is an even bigger mistake to stop it.”

In recent years, Gulf Arab states had turned away from confrontation with Tehran in favour of diplomacy. As much as they loathed the prospect of a nuclear-armed Iran, they worried more that they would bear the brunt of its ballistic missile arsenal in the event of war.

Iran’s scattergun retaliation – targeting not just US military bases but also energy infrastructure and residential areas across the Gulf – has borne out those fears.

Oh please. Trump's just following the playbook on the Middle East. That hasn't changed since the M.E. agreed to pay for all oil transactions in dollars. Whiskeyleaks isn't advising crap.

MAQA yahoos constantly crow that trump does things differently but all of a sudden it's not his fault, he's just following the playbook. That's BS and you know it.

When will he finally be a man and take responsibility for something negative?

You want to have your cake and eat it too:
- trump is different, he's draining the swamp. he's getting rid of career bureaucrats (advisors like you're describing), blah, blah, blah ...
- it's not trump's fault, he's just following the advise of those career bureaucrats (he was going to get rid of).

Which is it?

The reality is that trump and his minions canned a number of those career bureaucrats and I doubt he's listening to the ones that remain. He has shown that he values loyalty over knowledge, experience or competency. He's listening to the people that are blowing smoke up his ass and helping keep his ego inflated. He's used up all of his excuses, this is all on him and his minions. He and MAQA need to be men and stop blaming others for anything negative.

It’s sometimes difficult to determine who’s a bigger dick. Bibi or Donnie?

South Korea just bitch slapped Israel too.

Meanwhile, Israel is giving the Gaza treatment to Lebanon now.

It’s nice they have one friend, dumb enough to persuade, who will go to war on their side.

Fuck Israel.
