MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

More democrats hate America.

….Look, nobody is under the illusion that the United States is a favorite to win this tournament. They've never advanced beyond the quarterfinals (2002) and have zero World Cup titles. That said, at number 15 in the FIFA world rankings, they have about as much a chance as Mexico (13) and Senegal (16).

So, it's not about predicting who might be the favorite, as I'm sure Espaillat and Chevalier will suggest was the excuse behind their pathetic answers, since the moderator did preface the question first by asking, "Who do you think will win it all?"

The odds of them even knowing where Senegal is on a map are slim to none. Hell, they'd likely struggle to find Mexico, given that they think the country has no border. They're not experts on those soccer teams. There is no insider football knowledge that would lead them to think these two are dark horse candidates for the title.

This really isn't that hard. I despise soccer, yet I will be wholeheartedly cheering on the United States in the World Cup.

Though maybe this isn't much of a surprise. The Democrats are, after all, the same group that demonized the American hockey team for the sin of celebrating their Olympic gold medals with the President of the United States. They might as well just come out and admit they're cheering for anybody other than the US of A.

MAGA trying to convince of their patriotism. Look! We have flags and shit on everything! We own Lee Greenwood and Bruce Springsteen’s greatest hits!

1930’s MAGA would have been HUGE fans of Germany.

I’ll probably root for America in the matches I watch. But I always root for Europe in The Ryder Cup going back to the 80’s. British post punk > American hair bands. Thai over cheeseburgers.

Is it really that different then white supremacists and lost causers and their confederate flags?

Does this mean that Republicans are the misogynists who celebrated the men's American hockey team gold medal but not the women's?

I cheered for both hockey teams and I'm cheering for team USA in the World Cup. I also want to see the Germans and Norwegians do well and win if isn't the US. Does that make me "unpatriotic"?

I also know where Senegal is.

So you‘re comparing those 2 donks to white supremacist confederate flag wavers. Nice.

False analogy. Link to where conks rooted for other country’s women’s’ teams over the US women’s‘ hockey team? Because that is what we are talking about here. Actively rooting for another countries over the US (vs perceived lack of celebration of a US team).

No, because of that ‘other than the US’ part that those 2 donks left off.

I'm not big on lost causers/white supremacists or Americans rooting for other nations' teams over Team USA in any sport. In that respect, I am comparing them.

It is just as reasonable to question the patriotism of lost causers/white supremacists with confederate flags as it is to question the patriotism of Americans rooting for Mexico, Senegal, etc. in the World Cup. It's also just as reasonable to question the patriotism of the seditious January 6 rioters and the people who support/defend/deflect for or want to pay them.

The double standards of MAQA yahoos is really interesting.
  • When faced with criticism, they like to broaden the subject to claim tDS/but trump, broaden the argument to say that Demcrats/liberals did it first or to outright blame biden/Obama.
  • But they insist on limiting the debate when it comes to their own criticism of their perceived opponents.

Neither is this.
Democrats want to celebrate America as a priority on July 4th, compared to 65% of Republicans

It is bullshit. The opposite (force people to promote the christo-nationalist agenda, but not OK for people to demonstrate their beliefs) being pushed by trump and MAQA is also bullshit.

Not surprising at all at the antisemitism in CA.
Israeli flag confiscated at Iran World Cup game while Palestinian flags remain in stands, video shows

….The Instagram reel, posted by @blackandjewishunity, showed a man, who later identified himself to Fox News Digital as Rony, with an Israeli flag draped over his shoulders approached by two members of Apex Private Security at the stadium. One staff member said that "the house, which is the facility here, is asking to remove this flag" for Rony's "safety."

"Why can't you remove that flag?" Rony asked, pointing to a Palestinian flag just two rows behind him. "You guys aren't removing this flag but you guys are removing my flag?

"It seems like a little antisemitism is playing a part here."

Rony told security that if the Palestinian flag were removed, he would remove his Israeli flag. Another staff member said if Rony did not give up his Israeli flag, he would have to leave the stadium.

The second staff member said it was the "call" of apparent nearby FIFA employees to have the Israeli flag removed, while he and Rony both had their hands on the flag.

I don't make the rules... I'm just doing what I'm told," the staffer said, adding that Rony would be able to get the flag back at a later time.

Later on in the video, a female Apex security member said, "The only flags that are allowed to be out are the teams that are playing." When she was notified that the Palestinian flag was not confiscated, she responded, "Oh, I don't know."

Neither Israel nor the Palestine men's national team are in the World Cup. Only Israel has qualified in each team's history, back in 1970.

When Rony attempted to get his flag back, he approached a first responder and said that security said they would give him his flag back. The first responder answered, "No they didn't. FIFA took it."….
