WTI 1st flare up was about $68 to $115. It went back down to about $68 are the ceasefire deal. 2nd flare up in last week has only gone up to $81 (<$79 now) because much of Hormuz traffic has been rerouted. Course Brent has been running consistently higher.

Heard yesterday (not going to search for a link) that 7 pipeline projects underway in Mid East to bypass the Strait of Hormuz, and by the end of 2028, Strait of Hormuz will go from the beginning of this year about 20% world’s oil transiting to about 8%. Iran will no longer have the oil leverage.
