No more than I am the nerve pain prescriptive drug, gabapentin, which is mild but causes withdrawal symptoms if you quit too fast. But I abstain from weed without withdrawal or any issues at all. And I only do it before bed as I wind down.Caribbean Hen wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2026 3:04 amSo you’re addicted …kalm wrote: ↑Mon Jul 27, 2026 11:30 am
Weed has legitimate medical uses and is a million times less harmful than booze as a recreational drug. My entire medical team is fine with me using it. My wife’s physical rehab doctor prescribed it for pain. 1:1 THC to CBD . Wait until you hear about psilocybin’s therapeutic benefits.![]()
Your ignorance on this topic is apparently unshakeable.
Sad.
Pro tip: I can take the ribbing but not everyone can. Here’s a PSA for you….
Alcohol is highly addictive. I was an alcoholic. Weed is not physically addictive. It can be psychologically addictive but so can your drug of choice, beastiality.
I’d like to think you know all of this but then you should also know that it’s quite the shitty move to fuck with anyone about their recovery. For me, it was cold turkey, easy, and an unintended hospital detox after nearly bleeding out from a ruptured varisces. For others, it remains challenging for years if not forever. I’ve seen people on a liver transplant list who fuck up one time going to a bar with friends, and will get de-listed as a Peth test can detect going back 6 months. That can be like writing your own death sentence.
If you in fact do know this, that makes you a piece of shit deserving of all the bad things coming your way. If you didn’t realize this, that makes you an ignorant child.
So which one is it, Pards?
