I agree. I hate the black. Its not our school color. Lax and basketball (in the past) are the only teams that wear it and I hate it.

We used to get all black gear too and I hated that. All of my shorts and t-shirts are black or grey with purple or yellow writing on them. They've since gone back to purple and yellow for the shorts (which are surprisingly good looking).

I think they're trying to get away from using any black anymore. They just announced the new LAX equipment deal with Maverick so hopefully new Uni's will follow this theme:

Also, for the record that UNI jerseys were terrible. I have saw some of them in person....looks like baby shit. JMU's are much nicer, but not new enough for anyone to "Steal"

I'll never forget those orange FAMU jerseys running roughshod all over ASU's defense in 1999. It was the first time I had ever seen a no huddle offense run for an entire game (and obviously it was the first time ASU's defensive staff had seen it, too). The rattlers could have scored 100 points that day, if they had wanted to. For that reason, I don't like them. Otherwise, I think the orange and green is a good color scheme.

Working on getting pics from this year. So far its been exactly the same except they wore blue pants instead, and this weekends our first for away gear so I have no idea what they'll wear. Not a big fan of the blue on blue but oh well.
