FCS Players In The NFL
Update your former players...
In his first career NFL start, Jason Hunter had three tackles, one sack, four quarterback hurries and a pass defensed. Appearing in his 44th career game, Hunter recorded his third career sack, taking down former teammate Brett Favre.
Marques Murrell made two tackles in the New York Jets' 16-9 victory over New England. Murrell made one tackle on defense and also made a special teams tackle.

Mike Adams SS (UD '03) is in his sixth season in the NFL playing for the Browns mostly in nickel situations. He has four tackles on the year thus far.
Delaware also had a quarterback drafted last year and I'm not real sure how he is making out.

Fred Evans - DT - #90 Minnesota - 4th year
Plays behind Pat Williams. Utilized a lot on goal line stands. Saw action in 2008 playoffs after Williams was injured.
We have 2 in the CFL - 2005 QB Barrick Nealy with the Calgary Stampeders, who won the Grey Cup last year
and Courtney Smith (2008) LB - BC Lions

Re: FCS Players In The NFL
I would like to see some numbers from each school of how many players are on active rosters. I think it would be interesting to compare. I think UNI has something like 8 players active right now.

Thanks for the update on Jason, as a die hard Packer fan, I thought he was a great devlopment project for the pack, and was pissed when he was released. Seemed to me this year he was ready to make a big impact, guess I was right, just for another team. Good luck to Mr. Hunter!Appaholic wrote:Update your former players...

I posted ours. Most of the our NFL guys are former/retired players. We currently have 1 NFL, 2 CFL, 1 SIFL and 1 Arena. 3 of those are from the 2005 team.
