US Military snatches protestor at G20 yesterday????

Question: Why can you so easily dismiss these people as "having nothing to do with mainstream liberal thought", yet when conservatives try to do the same with birthers, truthers, and the town-hall yellers, you disagree? (And by "you", I don't mean you particularly, but liberals in general).

mostly because having worked in both parties - the super-liberal activists have NOTHING to do with party operations or candidates... whereas, in the GOP, especially under Roves guidance - they've embraced their fringe, and they constitute more of their "base" than say the fringe left makes up for the Dems "base"

You aren't seriously comparing anarchists to the religious right, are you? Usually the people who protest events like the G20 are people are folks who shamelessly label themselves as socialists.

After looking at the video more closely, I'd bet this is staged. If not for the car, I would be 100% sure. The car is the only thing making me think that there is a small chance this could be a police team. However, it would have to be a very unprofessional police team. In fact, at a big event like the G-20, police generally makes sure that they absolutely identifiable as the police. Big, huge patches on their backs and fronts reading, "POLICE" or "SWAT". Their tactics in this case are little shaky, too.

If I had to bet money on it I would call BS on this one.

The car is the only thing making me think that there is a small chance this could be a police team. However, it would have to be a very unprofessional police team. In fact, at a big event like the G-20, police generally makes sure that they absolutely identifiable as the police. Big, huge patches on their backs and fronts reading, "POLICE" or "SWAT". The car is the only thing that is close. Pretty convenient that they didn't get a photo of the license plate so the vehicle could be tracked.

Army and Marines don't wear BDUs any more...

Nor do the squids! In the past few weeks around the Naval Academy I started noticing that the sailors are phasing in blue (yes, you read that right) digital camo. I stood behind one of them at Subway and got a close look. It's the exact same pattern as the Marines' marpat, just in blue. Where the marpat has the random eagle, globe, and anchor in the pattern, the new Navy digs have the USN anchor seal.

Everybody has switched to the ACU as far as I know. Looks staged to me anyway.

Only people still wearing straight BDUs are Air Force folks who are retiring within the next year (because the new uniform is not mandatory until then, and why spend the money)

Those are not U.S. military folks IMHO....Army and Marines don't wear BDUs any more...it's either staged, or someone wants to make it look like the military and didn't do their homework...

They have to be cops, too fat for soldiers.

Can you name any Democratic Congressmen who support, encourage, or are of anarchist beliefs? Can you name any democratic leaning posters here who are anarchists? Because I can name plenty of Republican Congressmen and posters here and AGS who are birthers.

I'm an anarchist, but the very act of joining up with them would be anti-anarchistic, so I belong to my own chapter and don't recruit.
