Typical race-baitin' brother....play the race card, then deny it to the hilt. You're what's wrong with race relations in this country.wkuhillhound wrote:AZGrizFan wrote:

and you know it. I was the carrier of truth.
You were just, that I PWNED you.

I'm not going to pin it on hillhound but I do agree that is what is wrong with race relations in this country.AZGrizFan wrote:Typical race-baitin' brother....play the race card, then deny it to the hilt. You're what's wrong with race relations in this country.wkuhillhound wrote:

Race relations was a problem before I was born. You're just throwing shit at the wall just to see if something will stick.AZGrizFan wrote:Typical race-baitin' brother....play the race card, then deny it to the hilt. You're what's wrong with race relations in this country.wkuhillhound wrote:

You are right, they were around longer. However, what Z and I stated is that the problem now is that minorities throw the race card bait and when someone reacts they cry racism.wkuhillhound wrote:Race relations was a problem before I was born. Race relations STILL are a problem...and a large part of that problem is people playing the race card a) without knowing if it's really true and b) when it doesn't really apply at all.wkuhillhound wrote:Race relations was a problem before I was born. Give me a break, WKUHH said 'he heard the guy said racist things' thats all he said, so I wouldnt say he's playing the 'race card' ... The 'race card' is two things...AZGrizFan wrote:Race relations STILL are a problem...and a large part of that problem is people playing the race card a) without knowing if it's really true and b) when it doesn't really apply at all.wkuhillhound wrote:

1. Minorities calling racist, when it really isnt the case.
2. Whites attempting to justify a racist remark/act.
In this situation we dont know what the Boise player said, so claiming 'race card' is a little over dramatic.

And my only point is this: If you don't KNOW that it's true, PLAYING THAT CARD marginalizes ANY opinion you may have on the subject. Hey, if it's true, completely absolve the young man, but to say you "heard" the crowd was yelling racial slurs (RACE CARD) and then try to cover your ass by saying "but I don't know if that was true" is a pathetic attempt to close the barn door after the horse is gone.wkuhillhound wrote:Thank you, reppies.BlackFalkin wrote:

I wasn't covering my ass, especially if that quote was said before your accusation of the RACE CARD. It was an opinion, I wasn't stating it as fact.AZGrizFan wrote:And my only point is this: If you don't KNOW that it's true, PLAYING THAT CARD marginalizes ANY opinion you may have on the subject. Dude, if you throw out an "opinion" about racial slurs, that's playing the race card whether you want to admit it or not. It's like pouring gasoline on a fire, and then trying to put it out with a squirt bottle. Admit your mistake and move on.wkuhillhound wrote:I wasn't covering my ass, especially if that quote was said before your accusation of the RACE CARD. Actually, if this guy wasn't a starter, he would have never been suspended.appmaj wrote:If this kid wasnt a starter or that good of a player we would have never heard of him again no matter what actually happened to provoke him...
