ok. Yahoo still had them listed as an Independent so I thought it was another season before they would technically be part of the conference. I will fix that with next weeks release.Mvemjsunpx wrote:One minor error: Bryant is in the NEC now (not an independent).

Re: 2009 FCS Playoff At-Large Eligibility
Not sure what they technically are. The NEC includes them in some news releases but not others. They play all the NEC teams, but NEC teams weren't forced to play them, just "strongly encouraged." So I'm not sure they are actually NEC or not.UNHWildCats wrote:ok. Yahoo lists them as Independent, ESPN and NEC.com list them in NEC standings... I guess it can't hurt to list them with NEC even if they arent officially in yet...danefan wrote:Not sure what they technically are. The NEC includes them in some news releases but not others. My bad, I thought they were 1-3......

Yes. APR for UTC as well as Jax State. EWU with the violations and the rest should be transitioning teams.appmaj wrote:UTC is banned from the postseason, right? (APR related)

So did I. Well, revisited SLC
SFA has 2 DI wins and 7 games left. So they need to win 5 of those. I guess that puts them at 3 also? Someone recheck me here.
MSU and SFA* have to win 5/7 and TXST or SAM have to win 6/7 to be eligible. One of those first 2* will lose this week.
Currently, in the SLC, with an 11 game schedule you have to have 2-3 OOC DI games and you had best win at least 2 of them before conference unless you are confident you will run the table. Last year we did, in OOC, this year we didn't, so we're pretty much hanging on by a thread (or a chad)
(more bluntly, we had a 12 game schedule last year and entered Conference 3-2)

Not the one in here talking about how my team is Co-1st place or how we're being slighted in the playoff picture... If you want to get down to it, as of right now, the Dukes have a better shot of making the playoffs than the Eagles. So until those sanctions are lifted, enjoy your speculation about what the NCAA is thinking.BlackFalkin wrote:James MadisonJMU DJ wrote:

That loss to Hofstra REALLY put you in the hunt. Anyway I know you want to think EWU wont see postseason play, but I have to tell you my friend....The NCAA is full of shIt, and If EWU is eligible they will play. Watch & learn...JMU DJ wrote:Not the one in here talking about how my team is Co-1st place or how we're being slighted in the playoff picture...
